The beginning of it all (Lala)

Hi, I'm Lala. I'm a skater that lives in Pittson, which is a city in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, United States. However, I have always wanted to move to San Francisco. I would always talk about how much I love San Francisco and how I want to move there. However, I know I would probably never move to San Francisco. That made me feel kind of sad.

My birthday is coming up in a couple of days, so and my parents had told me they had an unforgettable surprise for me. I wondered what it could be. I tried not to think too much and just wait for the day to come. I was excited cause my birthday finally came, which meant I was going to find out the surprise. When I woke up I went downstairs and my parents yelled "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!". They then told me to go upstairs and get ready for today.

When I was done getting ready we headed to the car. This made me think we were going out to get dinner. Later I was informed we would be staying at a hotel for the night and continue the ride in the morning. So now I knew we were going far, and not a restaurant. It's the next day and we are continuing our road trip. After a couple of hours we get there, and oh boy am I happy!! We were in San Francisco! I'm so happy cause this is my first time and I didn't expect this.

We were having such a good time! We went to the Japanese tea garden and strawberry hill. It was then getting late, and I was confused about why we were still here. Are we staying for a couple of nights? I don't say anything and just get in the car like normal. I then see we are pulling up to a house. I assume we booked it for a couple of days but saw a sign that said sold. We weren't staying a couple of days, we were staying forever! My parents were right this is an unforgettable night.

The next day we went to give drive around the city to get to know it more. I've also have been wanting to go to the beach lately. So I ask my mom and she said yes. At the beach, I met a boy named Ray. Right away I knew I and Ray could be good friends. I told him "hey so I am new to San Francisco, I just moved here yesterday. I don't have friends and wondering if you want to stay in contact"? He replied saying "yes I would love to be your friend, show you around, and make you feel welcomed".

I liked Ray a lot, and I'm glad that I get a chance to be his friend. We created a bond that is so strong, and he makes me feel welcomed like he wanted to. We had so many things in common it was shocking. I thought to myself "I don't care if I didn't make a big group of friends, as long as I had ray I was fine". As you can tell I gained a love for Ray fast, really fast.
