Ladybug and Chat Noir had just finished defeating an akumatised villain and saving Paris, yet again.
It has been 3 years since the pair had received their miraculous', and started saving Paris from Hawk Moth. And each time, Hawk Moth is getting stronger and making it more difficult for Ladybug and Chat Noir to defeat him without almost getting killed each time.
Both panting as they try to catch their breath, Ladybug and Chat look at each other as both of their miraculous blink as the last claw/spot disappear.
"That was tough M'lady, but together, we make a purr-fect team, amirite?" Chat said confidently as he flicks his golden hair to the side
"We sure do, Kitty. Pound it!" Ladybug replies as the couple pound their fists together.
"Purr-haps, a paw-some couple too-"
"For the last time, Chat, I'm in love with
someone-" Lady bug exclaimed but was quickly interrupted by her feline friend
"Someone else, I know, you've mentioned. Who is he anyway? He surely can't be better then me."
"I'm not telling you, and if we keep this up, our identities won't be secret anymore" Ladybug stressed as she began to twirl her yo-yo around
"I can keep a secret. Plus, I'm dying to know who you really are" Chat said as his smirk started to widen
"Goodbye, Kitty" Ladybug sighed as she went off into the distance
Chat sighed "Claws in" he groaned. It was him, Adrian Agreste. The very boy, the girl of his dreams is in love with, and he didn't even know it.
Plagg flew out from Adriens ring and fell dramatically on the ground next to his owner.
"Here you go Plagg, don't eat it all at once" Adrien said miserably as he handed his kwami the small piece of camembert.
"No promises" Plagg said as he stuffed his face with the stinky cheese
"It's been three years. Three years, of watching the girl I love be in love with someone else. It's not fair" Adrien dangled his feet over the tall building he was sat on, watching the city of love, fail him and his love life, over and over.
"It's not like you haven't got girls who would kill to be with you, and boys" Plagg claimed unbothered as he quickly demolishes the piece of camembert
"But they're not her, not even-"
"Marinette?" Plagg interrupted
Adrien sat in silence as he thinks about the name his Kwami had just mentioned. Marinette, she had always been so sweet around him. 'She's kind, brave, caring, selfless, and funny. Just like Ladybug.' Adrien thought to himself
"You're right, Plagg, Marinette."
"Of course I'm right. What am I right about, again?" The small creature questioned
"I've spent too long chasing one girl, it's time I get to know Marinette, and not just as a friend. But what about her and Luka?" he said in a panic walking up and down on the same building him and Ladybug had just defeated a Villain on.
"What about her and Luka? You are Chat Noir. He's got nothing on you" Plagg yelled as he followed Adrien
It was as if a lightbulb had flashed in his mind as his eyes shined brighter than usual
"That's right, I can get to know her, as Chat Noir!" Adrien exclaimed
"No I never said that I-"
"It's perfect, Plagg. She can fall in love with Chat Noir and when we confess our love to each other, I can show her who I really am"
"Don't you think it's abit fur-fetched?" Plagg asked anxiously
"No, it's perfect, that way if she rejects me, it won't really be me, it'll be Chat Noir."
"But it's still you-" Plagg began to speak but soon gave up, as it was obvious Adrien was stuck on this idea, and wasn't going to let it go "-it's a great idea" Plagg sighed

Hours had gone by and night had fallen upon Paris. Adrien knew that his father would never let him leave in the middle of the night to see a girl.
Every night, Natalie would check on him to make sure he is in bed, and much to his hatred. Adrien still stuck by his fathers rules, even if he was nearly 17.
After Natalie visited his room to check he was in bed, Adrien got ready and gave his Kwami some cheese before he transformed.
"Plagg, claws out!"
Before jumping out of the window to see Marinette, he looked behind, he wasn't Adrien Agreste anymore.
He was Chat Noir.
