"Class you are dismissed. Have a nice 4 day weekend"
Everyone packed up and left the room, chatting amongst themselves.
"So Kyrie, whats your plan?" Blaire asked me while we walked down the hall towards the lockers.
"For what?" I whispered not making noticeable eye contact due to the popular kids being right across the busy hallway.
"The weekend dipshit. Every weekend you sit in your room and go on your laptop and that is pretty much all!"
"I have a different plan this weekend actually. Instead of siting on my laptop in my room I'm going to sit in the living room," I giggled.
"Oh such a rebel," she snickered putting in her locker combination as I did mine.
Once we were finished we walked side by side to the front of the school, where we were met with the lovely rainy outdoors filled with water and student talking and having fun. It made my insides hurt seeing all of the students having fun and being loud with each other without a care in the world. I don't really know why exactly, maybe I was the kinda jealous that they can do that. I mean yes I'm capable of doing it but due to me being so shy kind of puts up a boarder.
"Earth to Kyrie! Come in Kai," Blaire said trying to obtain my attention. "Dude when you space out you go way out there."
"I'm sorry. There was just a random thought th-."
"I really don't want to know," she said as we walked down the street towards my house.
"I like being your best friend because your really fun and your parents buy really good food," Blaire said as we reached my house.
"Thank you?" I responded as I unlocked the front door.
Once I got it we walked inside to an empty house with a note. It read,
Kyrie,
We had to leave a little earlier so we could avoid traffic. We left you $200 dollars in the drawer. We will see you when we get home on Monday night.Love,
Mom and Dad"HEY GUESS WHAT???" Blaire yelled running towards me with her phone.
"What"
"So you know that really tall light skin that's in our history and english class?"
"His name is Kalin, go on"
"He wants to know if we want to hang out tomorrow with a few of his friends"
"I don't want to go," I responded blankly.
"What is the excuse this time?" She said.
"I don't know him or any of his friends except Cam who I barely even talk to and the only reason I do is because we had a photography project together," I said scrolling through my phone.
"This is how you get to know people, by socializing" she said taking my phone.
Blaire can pull me into the weirdest things sometimes. It's very rare that she takes no for an answer.
"Since you don't want to go out I'll say that we were planning to have a lazy day and they can come if they want," she replied typing on her phone.
"So difficult," I mumbled to myself.
"I heard that!"
"Good"
