Summary:
Kurt and Blaine have a cozy date night :)

"I'm done." Kurt flopped down on the couch and tilted his head back, rubbing his forehead.
"School, glee club, booty camp, come home, cook, wash the dishes, come here...I only now found time to relax at," he checked his watch, "seven P.M."

"I knew you'd be tired so I prepared something for you." Blaine smiled.

The pair were at Blaine's house. It was a Thursday night. One of their date nights.

"Really?" Kurt raised his head up to look at his boyfriend.

"Mhm."

"Well...what is it?"

"Don't be impatient!" Blaine laughed.

"But I'm curious now!" Kurt protested even though he couldn't help the smile forming on his face.

"Okaaaay..." Blaine rolled his eyes with a small smile. "Let's start it like this. What's your favorite scent?"

"Uhh, I have a few." Kurt said before he started counting them. "Lavender, Jasmine, Vanilla-"

Blaine smiled bigger and raised his eyebrows, looking at Kurt, indicating that the thing he got, in fact had something to do with vanilla.

"Alright...Vanilla but what?" Kurt asked and Blaine got a box of matches out of his pocket, handing them to Kurt.
"Blaine...is it-" Kurt gasped. "VANILLA SCENTED CANDLES!"

"Yes!"

"Aww, you got vanilla scented candles?" Kurt asked sweetly.

"I did." Blaine chuckled. "I know they tend to relax you and thought you'd need it."

"Oh, you don't know how much I do."

"Well, light them up then." Blaine pulled out the candles from the drawer of the coffee table.

Kurt took out a match and slid it from the side of the box in his hand in a quick motion, lighting the small, wooden stick in his hand. He then lighted the candles and blew the fire out, the scent of the smoke causing him to scrunch up his nose a little. Luckily for him, sweet vanilla quickly filled up the air and replaced the smoke.
When he looked at Blaine again, he was on the floor, in front of the TV, looking through DVDs. When he finally found the one, he held it in his hand and showed it to Kurt.

"Singing In The Rain! That's my favorite!"

"I know." Blaine smiled.

"We're going to watch that?! Even though it's our third time watching it? Blaine, look we really don't need to watch it if you don't want to. I mean I can watch things I like multiple times but I don't know about you and I really wouldn't want you getting bo-"

"Shush." Blaine cut of Kurt. "I won't get bored, don't worry. Plus, I like it too so don't you worry."

"Okay then..." Kurt smiled. "Come up here so we can watch it."

"Nope. Not yet."

"Why not?"

"We're not done with the surprises."

"Wha- Blaine, are you serious? You didn't have to do all these already and you have more?"

"I do. Close your eyes."
Kurt sighed and closed his eyes.
"No peeking!"

"Fine." He closed his eyes properly.

After about thirty seconds, Blaine told Kurt to open his eyes and was holding a blanket and a heart shaped box.

"If you tell me that there's chocolate in that box, I will hug you so tight."

"Well then open it and find out." Blaine smiled, handing him the box.

Kurt opened it and upon seeing that there was indeed, chocolate in it, he stood up slightly, pulled Blaine on the couch and embraced him tightly, all while smiling bigger than ever. "Thank youuu!!!"

Blaine let out a small laugh at his boyfriend's reaction, hugging him back and laying his chin on the crook of his neck.
After they pulled away from the hug, Blaine took a piece of chocolate from the box and put it in front of Kurt's mouth. "Open your mouth."

Kurt let Blaine feed him the chocolate, a blush rising up on his cheeks. Even though they had been together for almost a year now, Blaine never failed him to make him blush. He was just too damn charming and romantic and cute and funny and handsome and-

Kurt's thoughts were cut short when Blaine got up to turn off the lights and put the DVD in the player. When Blaine returned, he covered them both up with the blanket he brought earlier and wrapped an arm around Kurt, Kurt cuddling to his side. He started the movie.

Thirty minutes into the movie they had already finished the box of chocolate and Kurt's eyelids were already heavy from sleepiness, the weight of the day downing on him.
"Blaine." He whispered.

"Hm?" He turned to him.

"I don't think I'll be able to go back home, is it okay if we turn this date into a sleepover date? We'll go to school together tomorrow?"

"Of course." He smiled at Kurt who literally was on the verge of sleeping. 'Sleepover date.' He thought and chuckled. He loved the names Kurt made up for things.
"Tell your parents, though."

"Mmm, okay." Kurt yawned and took his phone out of his pocket. He called Burt and started to wait for him to answer, Blaine meanwhile stopping the movie so that his boyfriend wouldn't miss it.

"Hey Dad." Kurt started. "I'm good....Yeah, we're watching a movie right now...Mhm...Uhh-I-uhh I actually called because I wanted to ask you if I could stay here tonight...But dad, I'm tired....Please?...No, his parents aren't home." His eyes widened and he blushed at what his father said next and he turned away from Blaine, lowering his voice before continuing. "Of course not!...Dad, I know I should've asked you if I could bring Blaine home that night, I already apologized...If you want me to, I'll sleep on their couch, I promise...Okay? YAAY THANKS!...Okay, goodnight. Tell Carole and Finn I said goodnight...I love you too." Kurt hung up and turned to Blaine, a little embarrassed.
He let out a small laugh. "Sorry about that."

"Don't apologize, it's okay." Blaine smiled. "So, you're staying?"

"Yeah." He smiled back.

"Wonderful."

Blaine started playing the movie again and Kurt went back to where he was before, sleep taking over him in no time once again.

"Blainey?"

"Yeah?" He turned to him.

"You didn't have to do all this. I feel very bad."

"Oh nooo!! Don't. I just...felt like doing this, you know-?" It was Blaine's time to blush now and Kurt smiled.

"I love you."

"I love you too." Blaine replied and Kurt pressed a short kiss to his lips before putting his head on his shoulder and holding his hand underneath the blanket.

'Movies, blankets and scented candles. Perfect date night.' He thought.

With the vanilla filling up his head and making everything a haze, with his body warm under the blanket, with the peaceful song along with the sound of the rain reaching his ears, with the taste of the chocolates still in his mouth and most importantly, with his head on his favorite person's shoulder, Kurt fell asleep in no time with a soft smile dancing around his lips.
