Margaret's POV:
I heard a knock on the door.
I said "what?".
To my surprise it was Y/n.
"Come in darling" I said,she entered my room and I told her what I had been longing to express for a long time.
"I'm so glad your here Y/n,I have been thinking about you non stop...it hurts so much some nights longing to have you in my arms!".

4 months prior

You had just got accepted to work as a personal waitress for her majesty herself.
You had received a letter from the queens private secretary.

Dear miss L/n,

We are absolutely delighted to welcome you to become an official member of Buckingham palace the role you will portray is a waitress to her majesty.

You will bring the queen her breakfast and her daily paper,at lunch you will bring her lunch and a selection of  beverages,at dinner you will bring the dinner she has requested and make sure she doesn't need anything else.

We have sent a chauffeur to pick you up with in the hour.

A few rules we have to go through are:
Do NOT speak to the queen.
Do NOT look the queen in the eye.
Every time you see a royal family member you must bow.

Y/n POV:
I was so excited that I was going to work for the queen of England,I know I would not be able to have any sort of contact with her but i was just excited to know I would be breathing the same air she was.

The car pulled up to your little flat that lie on the streets of central London.
The drive to Buckingham palace wasn't far,you felt special like you were a royal,but in fact you were just a commoner.
But in the moment it felt like you were important.

You pulled up to the gates of Buckingham palace,they started to open it felt like you were going for a meeting with the queen.
You arrived and another worker greeted you and showed you were you could dress.

The uniform was sophisticated,nothing special but so sophisticated compared what you wore.

At this time it was dinner time,and as the new girl you were assigned the task of handing out the dinner to the queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.

They were sitting in there personal sitting room as they liked to watch TV whilst eating their meals.

Y/n POV:
I knocked on the door there was silence.
I heard a voice say "yes?".
It was the queen,I opened the door gently and bowed trying to avoid eye contact.
"I have your dinner your majesty and I also have the Duke of Edinburgh's dinner as well ma'am".

She looked at me.
"Thank you dear...I haven't seen you before?".

I looked up still trying to avoid eye contact.
"You are welcome your majesty,I am new I just started,if you need anything else I'll be a call away".

She smiled and said, "thank you,have a lovely evening!".

To my surprise she was very ordinary,and very kind.

After that you were excused for the evening,you had to walk home which took about 30 minutes,the queen was lovely to your surprise.
You thought they were just going to be stuck up and ignore you but they didn't.
