Y/n POV:
I had just awoken when I noticed something had been posted under my door,it was a letter and I knew it was from Buckingham palace due to the red wax stamp.

It was a letter from Margot herself which was very uncommon to receive a letter from a royal.

Dear my darling Y/n,
I would like to offer you the position of main lady in waiting,my private secretary has finally agreed.
I want you to accept the offer so you could move in immediately,I can't wait to see you again love.

I was so excited to go into work today I already knew what my answer was,I would love to move in to Buckingham palace with her.

I got ready for work and today I decided to walk as it was still early.
I was let in and I made my way to Margot's chambers.

She was still asleep when I went in to wake her up.
I opened the curtains,she groaned "close them please!".
She looked up and saw me "did you get my letter?".

I walked closer to her "yes ma'am I did!".

She said "well...are you going to accept my offer?".

I sat on her lap and cupped her face "of course I would love to be your lady in waiting!".

She got really excited "wait really?".

I smiled and nodded "of course,I want to wake up everyday and see your beautiful face!".

She blushed and picked up a cigarette and the phone,she dialled her private secretary's number.

She said "it's me Margaret,Y/n has accepted the offer,get some people to go and collect her possessions now!".

She slammed the phone down,she was so bossy sometimes but I loved it.

I continued with my work for the day when I saw 3 men come into Margots chambers with suitcases I assumed that was my stuff.
I followed them down the hall they put the stuff in the room opposite Margots and one of them said to me "her royal highness wants you to sleep in this room!".

I had to act professional but inside I was dying.

They left the room I had a look around it was beautiful,it was plain but the room itself was probably bigger than my whole flat put together.

I turned around to find Margot standing in the door way "do you like it love?".

I nodded "like it?...I love it!".

She smiled and closed the door behind her.

I walked closer and held her in my arms "thank you for this darling!".

She held me back resting her head on my shoulder "anything for you sweetheart,I love you!".

We hugged for what felt like forever,we melted into one another I was in my euphoria,my happy place the place where I felt most safe.
