Adrien: *phone dings* Nathalie: I want to meet your female lead to make sure she won't ruin your reputation. Adrien: Nathalie, I'm sure she won't. We don't have to do that. Nathalie: Your father wants this. Either you ask her or I will. I want a date and time.
-and then everything from the last part of the chapter happens-
This is so embarrassing. I want to keep doing this, so I hope she doesn't screw this up.
I go to play practice and get bombarded by Chloé. "ADRKINSS!!!" Jesus Chloé! Wtf. "I'm sorry for scaring you Adrikins! I just missed you!" We literally had last period together. "I know, but these ten minutes have been sooo long." I roll my eyes and see Marinette staring at me from the corner of my eye. I send her a look and look at Chloé. She sighs and comes on over. THANK GOD! "Hi Adrien! Why are you hugging Chloé?" She says playfully. "Ugh not you again! Go away before I call my daddy!" Chloé wines. "Chloé, I swear to god. Just go away I need to talk to Adrien." She says. "I'll see you later!" Chloé says angrily and kisses me on the cheek. She walks away. I turn to Marinette. THANK YOU! Seriously thank you! If you didn't come, she would probably make me make out with her or something. "You can make it up to me by canceling the dinner with your dad." She says. Haha sorry no can do. Tell you what I'll get you ice cream after practice? We can go to Andres. "Sorry, but Luka already asked me to get macarons from the bakery. Maybe next time?" Ugh. Not that guy again. What's with him? Yeah! Totally!
Then we do play practice or whatever. It was pretty boring. We just read lines and apparently Luka is the secondary love interest. Marinette got to work with him today, but I'll work with her next time.
I'm gonna admit it. I like her and not in a friend kind of way. I want to be the one holding her hand. I want to be the one making her swoon. Seeing her act with Luka made me so jealous. I'm gonna win her over.
Marinette: Luka! Cut it out! I say laughing. We have a dancing scene except I have no idea how to dance and he's just twirling me and tipping me over. "No can do Mari. We gotta get this perfect my bride!" He says while laughing.
His character is the guy my character is supposed to marry, but she likes Adrien's character more, so they have a secret affair.
Luka finally stops twirling me and I regain my balance. I'm really excited to get macarons with you. "Me too! Do you want to go to your parents bakery? They have the best ones in Paris!" Thank you! And sure. I can get us some free ones!
-time jump to when Luka and Marinette reach the bakery-
And welcome to Tom & Sabine's Bakery! "Thanks." He says while laughing. Wait right here I'll get some fresh ones from the kitchen. I run to the kitchen to get some macarons from my dad. I come back with a tray and Luka and I eat the macarons at a table by the window. "Marinette, these are so good!" Hey if you want I can introduce you to the chef. He's kind of a big deal. "Cool! So what's the deal with you and Adrien?" That took an unexpected twist. Adrien? Oh he's just a friend. He just flirts a lot that's all. It's all a big joke to him. "It doesn't seem that way to me."
The door opens and the bell signaling that someone has walked in rings. I look up and see... Adrien?
