22. I'm sorry and I love you

"And? What did you do to my baby, Mark?" Johnny repeated the question.

"I- I-" Mark stuttered nervously.

"Where's the cocky boy that shot me now? Johnny smirked, making the rest of the adults in the room laugh at his teasing.

"Stop making fun of him," Taeyong said, humoured at the scene. He sipped from the wine glass Ten had served him.

"You made my baby cry, Mark. And that is something I'm not going to forget."

"I'm sorry, s-sir," Mark answered.

"Your son also made my son cry, let's make that clear," Taeyong said.

"And it was all your fault, Johnny and Jaehyun." Ten said as he emphasized their names.

"Yes, it was." Taeyong agreed as he clinked his wine glass with Ten's.

"Okay, fine. Can we all move past that, please?" Jaehyun said, annoyed.

"No, we can't. Twenty years of stupidity can't be forgotten in one hour, baby." Taeyong said as he caressed his husband's cheek.

"Okay... let's go back to our babies." Ten said. "Mark, don't be mad at my Hyuckie. He really had no idea who you were, trust me. I didn't even know it was you he was seeing until Tae told me. He likes you a lot and I can see you like him just as much, so you should both talk and clear everything up."

Taeyong held his son's chin with care. "You are too good together for you to be separated, baby."

Mark looked down flustered at his mom's words. He felt his face heat up, but his heart was very happy. Everything seemed to be in favour of Donghyuck and him being together. Now the only thing left to do was ask his baby for forgiveness and hope they could be a couple again.

"Hyuck is upstairs." Ten said. "He hasn't left his room much ever since you two fought... You should go upstairs now and talk to him. Try to fix things, please."

Mark nodded and got up from his seat with determination. He tried to look confident in front of his parents and his soon to be parents in law, but in reality, he was terrified of seeing the dancer again after everything he had said to him.

"Don't do anything naughty up there!" Ten shouted as the young boy was walking upstairs

"Let me tell you... from the sounds I heard when they were together at my house, I wouldn't be surprised if we get a grandchild soon," Taeyong said as he sipped more wine.

All the adults in the room laughed except for Johnny, who had a scandalized and disgusted face. "They've done what?!"

Mark walked down the hallway of the second floor of the Seo mansion. He didn't know exactly where Donghyuck's room was, so he just followed his instincts and kept walking until he found himself standing in front of a closed door with shining letters and photos decorating it.

Yes, this was definitely Donghyuck's room.

Mark stood there for a few minutes, just contemplating and admiring the decor of the door. He grazed the words lovingly. Donghyuckie The Best ♡ . He looked at all the photos of the cute boy growing up. Donghyuckie's 5th birthday. ~My first day of school~.... He recognized some of the people in the photos as some of the dancers from Cherry Bomb. Even Jeno's boyfriends were in some of the pictures with a cute ♡ My friends ♡ written next to it.

What he admired the most were the cute handmade drawings next to the photos. There were beautiful flowers, hearts, stars and there was even a quite detailed drawing of a gun with the name Haechan engraved on it. Mark smiled at it. Donghyuck was a very special boy.
