Chapter: Nine

Lydia was in class trying to distract herself from looking at Stiles' empty seat infront of her, she really missed the sarcastic boy with the lopsided smile and the soft red lips that would leave gentle pecks on her temple.

She'd better stop thinking about him or else's he'd break down in the middle of class.

So, back to the tree she was drawing.

It's so weird, for some reason she would all of sudden draw this tree all the time. And not just any crappy drawing of a tree, like a very detailed and specific seeming tree. The strange thing is that she'd never seen a tree that looks like this before so she has no idea how she'd even know where to begin to draw it.

"Lydia, I wasn't aware you had so many hidden talents." Ms.Blake said admiring Lydia's drawing of the tree.

"Thanks Ms.Blake, I don't actually know what im drawing though. It's just a tree that won't leave my head."

"Well it's beautiful." She smiles before passing passed and continuing her lecture.

The rest of the day went pretty normally, well besides the fact that she missed Stiles like hell and she was thinking about how the Alpha pack killed Boyd and she was wondering what the fuck they were gonna do next. She knew that Derek was probably next but she didn't know when or how.. she hadn't gotten a nightmare about him so it might not coming at all.

But she shouldn't speak so soon.

She was suddenly grabbed by Scott who was dragging her towards the boy's lockeroom with a look of panic on his face. She was confused until she heard the smashing and growling, then she ran inside and gasped at what she saw.

It was Aiden and Derek's sister Cora, and they were trying to kill eachother!

"Aiden stop!" Lydia screamed

He was lifting a weight over his head while Cora was on the ground panting and grunting from the pain that's been inflicted on her. She was slowly standing up when Aiden whacked her right in the face with his chosen weapon. Lydia kneeled down to the injured she wolf and starred at her condition in fear.

Scott quickly grabbed Aiden while Ethan who apparently was here too grabbed him aswell. Aiden dropped the weight considering her was restrained and Ethan started yelling at his brother.

"You can't do this!" Ethan exclaimed angrily with his canines fully on show.

"She came at me!" Aiden yelled

"It doesn't matter! Kali gave Derek until the next full moon, you can't touch him or her!" Ethan replies

After a couple seconds of silence the twins exit the lockeroom leaving the three of us in here, me and Scott help Cora up and she walks over to the sink and tries to clean up her face. There's a huge gash near her temple and it doesn't look like it's healing.

She looks really hurt.

"You realize how suicidally crazy it was to go after them right?" Scott asked

Cora scoffs, "None of you were doing anything."

"But Cora that was dangerous."

"I dont care! I did it for Boyd." She says angrily

"We know you wanna avenge him but you can't just go and do things like this." Scott says sounding angry aswell

"That's rich coming from from you." She says

"What?"

"You guys are just stupid teenagers running around thinking you can stop people from being killed." She shakes her head, "But you show up late, and all you really do is find the fucking bodies." She spits before exiting the locker room.
