AN: you all saw episode 8?!?!&^#&#*& Langa admitted to liking Reki, and IM SCREAMING AKHDKSFUHK. If this anime ends up to be fan service AND NOT A BL— I'm suing. Also, I was planning to post every Friday but I am also writing a Cherry Blossom and Joe one-shot book so that may be scheduled to change ahah. Anyways, here's the first chapter!!

Langa's wrist had been killing him the past couple of days for no reason at all. He didn't know if it was from him sleeping on it wrong or from his soulmate.

Langa sighed as he walked away from the building. Another rejection from the job.

Sakurayashiki Calligraphy.

He hopelessly looked up to the sky, physically exhausted. The company didn't accept Langa due to his age; however, the application requirement didn't supply him with that information. The blue-haired boy was slightly ticked off but also confused. He looked at his phone for the time, 5:25. The sunset designed this mellow painting across the sky.

The interviewer owned this program named 'Carla' that knew where Langa was from, his name and his age before he told the pink-haired man.

All-day, he wandered from store to store, wondering if one company would hire him. He had his somewhat filled resume in his hand, with incomplete Japanese sentences.

It was his second week in Japan. Ever since his su//cidal incident, the hospital called his mother in Japan. Langa reconnected with her and with enough money, booked a one-way trip to live with her in Okinawa. His grandfather, whom his mother was taking care of after the tsunami, passed away by the time Langa was 7. Langa's mother has been living on her own and working multiple jobs, slowly paying the funeral debt. Growing up in Okinawa, Langa was rarely exposed to Japanese culture and language. With being half-Japanese and living in Canada for most of his life, he adopted Canadian values and beliefs. Now in Japan, everything felt so familiar yet so distant. He attempts to connect with his heritage before that connection disappears.

Also, Langa wasn't very fluent in the language either but was slowly adapting to the environment.

He crumpled up his extra resumés in his fists and threw them in the trash. The hourly wage at the calligraphy store was good too. His legs went into a deep slumber during the interview and now felt tingly.

skrrttt

Langa glanced down to see a wooden board that glides passed him. His eyes followed the jagged scratches on the board as it crossed.

"Hey!"

Langa froze once he heard the voice of a person that ran towards him.

"Can you catch that board?!"

Was he—

Langa ran towards the rolling board, grabbed it with two hands, and waited for the redhead to catch up. Langa glanced over at the boy, whom he didn't recognize. He had bright, scarlet-coloured hair. He wore a black hoodie with the sleeves pulled up and wore a bright hot pink coloured shirt .The red head's right arm bandaged.

Was he working somewhere?

Langa got a hold of the board, he turned it around to see four wheels attached to it. There were old stickers peeling off of it and had tiny scratches that went around them. Why would someone add wheels to a board? Skateboard wasn't made for people to stand on.

"Skateboard?" Langa softly mumbled to himself. The skateboard is reminding him a lot about

snow—

The redhead finally caught up to him.

"You saved my ass, transfer!" The redhead said with a wide grin plastered on his face.
