Kenma and Kuroo's love dynamic!

Okay Kuroo first.

So the way Kuroo fell in love with Kenma was first sort of love at first sight. Kuroo's first genuine encounter with Kenma was when they were out at the park. From these Kenma was obviously doing the mission of trying to convince Kenma to join Nekoma however he did believe that Kenma was quite interesting. Eventually he forgot about the mission and realized that he was extremely intrigued with Kenma and that developed into feelings which he later found out— when he was explaining to his mother— that he was in love with him.

Kuroo is not afraid of being open about his love for Kenma. He wants to be a support pillar for Kenma and basically be the one he can rely on.

NOW KENMA.

It's very hmmmmm hidden! It's very hidden the way he falls in love with Kuroo mainly because it's very slow. A key point where he was like, "oh woah... okay this is.... this is certainly a new feeling." Is when he slept in Kuroo's bed. So Kenma is an insomniac— for reasons I cannot expose ;)— however he felt comfort in the scent of Kuroo's bed therefore he slept.... without his guard being up. That's when he realized, he unconsciously trusted Kuroo because even with Hinata, he slept occasionally but his guard was always up. From there it was just Kenma slowly developing a sense of safety around Kuroo which developed into feelings to love which he genuinely realized when he was talking with Akaashi I believe. He realized that he couldn't hurt it out Kuroo in danger so he sorta began to distance himself. So from you have interrupted that maybe Kenma doesn't know what love is or he's afraid of falling in love himself HOWEVER THAT IS WRONG HAHA. Kenma knows exactly what love, he was just very hesitant with expressing it because he is aware that with who he is, (the son of Ken Kozume and the Mute Swan) if he was shown with a significant other, that person would be targeted. That's why he said that he was in love with Kuroo and it's terrifying. (Kenma has anxiety.)

Now the reason why he was able to be vocal about his love for Kuroo now is because of Aoi. Once he afopted Aoi he realized he would have to protect her, so he thought if he could do that with her then Kuroo— someone who was affiliated with gangs prior— would be able to protect himself as well as having his protection.

Uh yeah! So their ship dynamic would probably be slow burn since they technically were against eachother and now they're lovers..... well sorta.. hehe.

Anywho this love dynamic is soely related to this book and not the cannon Haikyuu. As I said before, I don't actaully ship any of the Haikyuu boys but certainly they can be soulmates.

Kenma and Kuroo's childhood to adult friendship is pretty dope! I do think they love eachother (best friend/brother wise!)

I feel like I should also explain Akaashi and Kenma's relationship since it can be confusing but idk I wanna see how you guys interrupt it!
