Chapter 1: What Surprise?

It has been 5 years in New York. New York City is awake in the beautiful night. The lights were bright, New Yorkers walking, talking, cars roaring. But down in the sewers,(just imagining how my image is just zooming down in every direction in the sewers to their lair.)showing a secret sewers. In the lair, every room was quiet.

Too quiet. But as for Splinter, was in his room, meditating, silently. Smiling peacefully. Humming softly. Inhale his sandalwood candle, and exhale.

He had all the lair quiet to himself......

On second thought. "Whoa did y'all bro's see me back there?" Mikey yelled out. While Splinter flinched a bit hearing his son's come from work. Groaned a little sad. "Hehe, yeah I can't believe that thug never saw that coming! Wew!" Raph whooped in victory, flexing his muscle while doing his trick with his sais, putting them away. "I mean, it was hilarious how he saw your figure, Raph, and screamed out....pfftt like a high pitched little girl!" Donnie said, making fun of their suspect that they gave to their teams. Making his brothers break into a laugh. "He must have shitted his pants in there." Leo joked. "Yeah, by Raph!" Mikey said lastly. Then they all were laughing uncontrollably. Donnie was holding onto the sofa arm, holding himself from falling down.

Leo was holding his stomach knowing his laugh was hurting him. Raph went to the wall using his right arm to rest his forehead, laughing harder, knowing it cracked him up good. Mikey was now stumbled to the ground laughing harder and groaned in pain. "Ow I think I broke a butt shell!" All of the boys now couldn't stop laughing, bringing them into tears.

A friend of theirs, April O'Neil entered the lair, suddenly wasn't expected to see the brothers laughing. Confused by their session. "Uh, why are you guys laughing?" April asked. Leo tried to calm down, wiping his tears and tried to explain. "We were out on our job, catching this thug who was wanted. We caught up to him, he bumped into Raph. And when he looked so.......pffftt he then screamed like a little girl with high pitched voice we ever heard!" Leo explains then laughs at the end, who then also falls to the ground. Laughing harder.

April then laughs by the story. "Ok, that's really funny. I never heard a guy before that would scream like a girl. Like from the movie Goosebumps." April said with the new movie she watched with the boys. "Oh that movie is hilarious. It's actually cool that Jack Black is in there." Mikey said getting up from the floor.

Then the others calmed down by their laughs, feeling their cheeks hurting. (Seriously, it does hurt when you smile too, too, too long.)

April then realized why she had come to the lair. "Oh guys, I got a text from your boss. Chief Vincent." The boys got confused about why April got a text from their boss? "Uhhh, what did she say?" Donnie asked. April then smiled wickedly to the boys and put her arms behind her back. "I'm not telling you." She sang teasingly. "Anyway, she only said to tell you to go back to the building and meet up with her in her office." April explained.

The boys looked at each other more confused then looked back at April. "It's a surprise." She smiled sweetly at them.

It really got them more confused now. "What surprise?" They said in unison.

~In Chief Vincent office~

Four of them were sitting down in their bosses office, waiting for her to come in. Patiently. Till they heard the door open. "Sorry boys, caught up with the new cases they turned in." She said, went sitting in her front desk. "That's ok, Chief Vincent." Leo politely said to Vincent. Smiling at him. "So you already been told by April to come here? Yes?" She asked softly, fixing her paper cases. "Yes." boys said in unison. "Ok, the surprises is that, I know it has been 5 years you've boys been joined in LAPD. And helped us crack cases and catch criminals and most wanted, and have been protecting the city like you said. It's just that. The surprises I wanna give you boys over 5 years for your job." Four of them were getting excited about what surprises they were gonna get from their boss.

What surprises will they get?

"To have a 5 weeks vacation." She said happily. But as for the boys. "Wait, vacation? For what?" Raph asked Chief Vincent. "Well because you boys had worked so hard and had shown participation. Which is I am glad, unlike some of the lazy cops sitting around on their desks. It's what I thought you guys deserve for your break."

Vincent said, opening her drawer, grabbing four pieces of paper, handing them each to each. The boys looked on their paper and were shocked. "Wait, the beach? With a boat?" Leo asked. "Yes, you guys will be on your vacation on the boat, relaxing maybe." She said. The four turtle brothers were stunned that they were given something they actually never have.

Donnie then spoke up. "Chief, it's really nice of you but are you sure that we-" Vincent cut him off. "Oh sure. It's ok, boys. But the boat you will be using is mine. It's from my dad, till later he died when our little last trip we had is we went fishing. It was a long time ago. So I am trusting you boys. To take it. The boat name is The Vincent Family." She said with pride and trusting. "Thats.....that's really nice of you, Chief. I guess we do deserve a little break from our job. When do we start then?" Leo asked Vincent.

"Tomorrow morning at 6." She said in calm tone.

Hey guys I made another chapter and I was kinda having writer's block. Needed ideas of how to start it and how to end it. I just made up about Vincent and her dad with their little boat time. Hope you all like it. Hope it wasn't that short to you guys. See ya!!
