In a balcony illuminated by the moonlight, a newlywed couple seen to have a serious conversation.
"You are blessed by Goddess Freya that is why you are chosen to be the empress. Don't forget that. You are no longer the captain of the royal guards and no longer my knight"
"I understand Your Majesty"
"You are no longer allowed to be too close to other knights like you used to be. Your action today was inappropriate. As my empress don't act recklessly ever again."
"I'll keep them in mind Your Majesty".
After a pause he added, "I am yours body and soul". The young man with delicate feature and a pretty face said shyly in front of the young emperor. With his cheeks flushed and his golden mark in his forehead shone brightly under the moonlight, the young man was breathtakingly beautiful.
Without saying anything more, the young emperor walked to the wedding chamber. The young man dropped his head and silently followed the young emperor into the wedding chamber. He knew clearly that the emperor doesn't love him, but still his heart beat faster and faster because tonight was his wedding night with the man he loved all his life.
The young emperor sat in the bedside with the young man standing in front of him still with his head low. "I never interested in men so I don't know anything to do with sexual intercourse between men. If not for the pandemic I would never set my eyes on you let alone marry you. Don't expect me to love you either. I only need an heir. After that I don't want to have anything to do with you"
The young emperor's words like a bucket of cold water that poured into his head. He trembled slightly. His eyelashes fluttering and he bit his lower lip to prevent tears from coming down from his reddened eyes. However, the young emperor didn't notice it. The young man answered him calmly. "This servant understands. Your Majesty doesn't need to worry about anything".
The young man then asked the young emperor to lie down and cover his eyes with a piece of cloth. They had their wedding night with the young man who took care of everything. There was no lovely kiss or a passionate wedding night. It was only sex without feeling. Because the young man was afraid to turn off the young emperor, he didn't even dare to make any sound. All his moaning and panting was held in his throat. After that, he silently got out from the wedding chamber and went to the bedchamber for the empress. In there, again he silently cried throughout the night without anybody knowing.
