1 Month into death

{America}

I was currently helping my Mother keep my younger/older siblings under control, it was so weird So you don't age here, but my siblings were born before me, but I am older. That is making my brain hurt, I grab what looked like a rubber duck but what was a can of salt out of one of my siblings hands. I see Roanoke sitting on a tree and holding a brush, she was brushing her wings and looked disgusted by the dust coming off of them. "What are you doing little/older sister." I said, jumping up on the branch she was on.  "I'm brushing my wings for the first time this year, Mama says you should do it every day but, I have better things to do then sit here for thirty minutes a day to do it" Roanoke said, sighing and throwing the hairbrush off the tree, hitting some dead country in the head.

"So what is like here?" I ask, running my fingers down the tree's wood. "Its the real world, but everyone here is dead, here you can touch things, real world you can't. Here, everyone gets along, Real world everyone hates each other. Its just weird, I actually like it because you can't die here." Roanoke said positioning herself to hang upside down on the branch, she had a necklace America gave to North Carolina many year ago around her neck.

"Does time go faster here?" I ask looking around, seeing Roman and German Empire talking to each other, which was odd. "Nope, makes it even worse." Roanoke said, her face slowly going red. "America! I need you real quick!" I heard my mother yell for me, I turned around and hopped of the tree branch. I was curious what she wanted and  wondering what was going on. I find my mother near the entrance from the real world and this place, she had a face of worry.

"What's wrong?" I asked her, she sighed and tried her best to plaster a fake smile on her face. As I walked over to her I felt something touch my dragging wings, when I looked over I saw a calico cat. I studied the cat for a second then knew exactly who this cat was.

"Mary!" I said, grabbing the cat and hugging her. She was my first pet when I still lived with Britain, she died when she got stuck between the walls, I remember it was like losing family again, but harder. The cat wasn't happy, but I really didn't care. I put her down and faced towards my mother. "America lets stay on topic." Mother said, grabbing my hand and walking me over to the gateway. We passed through it and then I noticed we were in my old office in U.N's building, not the first place I thought we would be going. Everyone was there including my states who were sitting against a wall in the back, no one looked happy. Delaware and Confederate were standing where I used to sit.  "We all know why I called you here today, and its about America's sta-" U.N tried to say. "We were not just states but her children!" Ohio yelled, banging her fist against the wall.

"Yes yes, now we need to discuss  who is going to take who, we all know Confederate State's Of America here will not be able to do it by himself." U.N explained, sitting down in her chair and grabbing a piece of paper. "I am fine on my own! I got Delaware and Nasa to help me! I don't need you taking away my children!" Confederate yelled, America flinched, angry Confederate was a Confederate no one wants to deal with. When he started standing up and it made half of the countries in the room flinch.

"With all do respect Confederate, these kids will eat you alive. I have seen them. It will be better splitting them up, countries who don't have kids and those who have had kids so they will be able to experience it." U.N said, folding her hands together and staring at Confederate who was raging with anger.

"SO THIS IS ALL FOR YOU! YOU ARE RUINING A FAMILY! YOUR ARE WORSE THEN  BRITAIN! SO THIS IS ALL SO YOU GET HAPPY REVIEWS?!!?? IF ANY OF YOU EVEN FUCKING ARE LAY A HAND ON THEM, I WILL MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE MOST PAINFUL  DEATH YOU COULD EVEN  IMAGINE!!" Confederate screamed, pointing his hand at everyone in the room, I wanted to hug him, tell him that it will be okay, but that was hopeless.
