Oof, Ethan is definitely leaving the old bastard some PTSD.
Ethan on the coms "Okay, this Renne you talked about, what is so special about her?"
As I was looking through the scope, enjoying the scene, my phone rings. I send the contact onto my lens
It reads "Sweet honey bon"
Simon: "Ah really, why now?" after a bit of mumbling with myself, I finally answered the call
"Oh hey Mary. How you doing?"
"Hey. I'm doing fine, nothing big happened. How about you?"
"Well I'm at work right now. Staying a bit more tonight. Had a late emergency patient."
"Really? How are they now?"
"He is doing fine now don't worry. He was losing a lot of blood from his leg coming here after a bad crash. Had to cut his leg off"
"Oh my god. Are you okay?"
I was taken back by this "what? Of course I'm okay. What are you worried about?"
"You cut someone's leg off. It's not a good sight to see"
"Well I'm a surgeon as well Mary. I'm used to it by now, don't worry"
"Yeah...Oh by the way, do you have any plans for tomorrow?"
I adjust my sniper scope: "No...I don't think so...why you ask?"
"If you're fine with it, how about we go to an amusement park tomorrow?"
I smirk "Oh? Someone needs me to hold their hand while going through the scary tunnel?"
"WHAT!? Of course not"
"Sure doesn't sound like that to me"
"Ok...maybe a little" she responds defeated
I pull the trigger as it hits the head of a guard that was about to report a dead body
"What was that noise?"
"Nothing sweetie, was just fixing the bug with X-ray again."
"Again? Are you sure its good? It's like the 4th time that this has happened"
"I know, I have been looking for a new one for some time. And also...yeah it does sound like an idea to me. when should I pick you up?"
"uhm...how about 4:00 pm?"
"Sounds good to me" I then hear shuffles coming from the stairs
"Babe I have to go, catch you later"
"Oh ok see you"
The chatter gets louder as two people enter through the door
Third person view
2 soldiers come out to the rooftop
"I can't wait to finally put a bullet into that Seeker's head"
"Not if I do that first"
"We do have permission to shoot on sight any...way"
Then they spot Simon, as Simon is staring them down as well
Simon: "Ahhh...Hello there"
The soldier both look at each other before wanting to aim their guns at Simon. He reacts fast enough to shot one of the soldiers with a bullet from his wrist mounted pistol before charging the other soldier.
