Hey loves! Hope you're not tired of me yet 😂
So, this is just an idea that I got today, and I felt like writing it down. That's how it came out!
I really hope you enjoy this. Also, I'm planning to post more oneshots on here, so stay tuned!

>>This was based on the song "Cigarette Daydreams" By Cage The Elephant.

~{ CIGARETTE DAYDREAMS }~

She was only seventeen, her heart already broken by some jerk that she thought that it was special.

It's funny how destiny can cheat us. One day you think you will never see that person in your life again, but in the other hand, they become the most important part of your life, that you can't go on without knowing that they will be okay.

~{ Kate's POV }~

I was a fool. I believed him. I gave my heart and my soul to him, and he threw all of that away, laughing at my face as if I was a toy that he could play anytime he wanted.

With a slow move, I drag the cigarette in my hands, blowing my problems away with the smoke.

I spot a group of silly boys, that keeps staring at me from the corner of the bar, as I am the only girl in there - as if that wasn't the right place for a girl.

For fucks sake, it's just a bar!

But a blonde boy gets my attention. The look on his ocean eyes is different from the others. It seemed like he wanted to reach my soul only with his gaze. That sends shivers all over my body.

I glance away as another guy tells something funny enough to make the whole group laugh - Oh, if they are laughing at me.

I inhale the cigarette one more time, trying to recompose myself. I'm such a fool, it's official now.

Sighing, I shut my eyes, my head in my hands. I should've known that this would happen some day; after all, who would like to date a girl like me?

When I think it can't be worse, I feel something warm on my shoulder. I immediately glance at the person. And guess what? It was that same blonde boy, alone this time.

"What the heck do you think you're doing?!" I shrug and he takes his hand off my shoulder, hesitantly.

He stared at me with a caring look, as if he was sorry about something he didn't even know.

"I didn't mean like that. I'm sorry." I noticed that the group of boys wasn't there anymore.

He seems disappointed, but why should I care? I don't even know him!

"Oh, fuck you." With a quick move, I get off the chair and walk towards the door. I'm in the wrong place - as always.

But then, I didn't notice until I feel the cold rain pouring down my skin. I let out a wimp, I don't have a coat and I'm really far from home.

Great.

All I do is sit on the edge of the sidewalk, bringing my legs to my chest and burying my face in it. I allow my tears to run down my cheeks, not knowing what I will do now.

Then I hear someone yelling, the sound muffled by the water.

"Hey, miss!" I decide to not look back, because I knew that voice. The blue eyed boy.

I hear that he sits beside me.

"Miss, it's too cold outside! I can take you to-"

"I don't need your help!" I trailed him off, knowing that he just wanted to use me for fun.
