(Mild Cursing, Panic, Blood)
She silently hopped from bar to bar, making sure to hide when the guards circled around. It was hard to hide with her snowy white pelt, but she had learned to manage. She waited as the guards slowly came into view, her long tail wrapping around the bar anxiously, worried about falling from such a great height. It would alert the guards, surely.
As the guards began to pass, she continued on until she was smacked off and onto the ground with a massive force. Her wings peeked out as she tried to save her fall. She panicked, looking up at whatever had her pinned with her light amethyst-purple eyes. A grey wolf with a black bird-like mask stared down.
"Who the hell-" She began.
The wolf smacked her face with a hiss, "What are you thinking? They're going to see us now! Ah, forget it." He grabbed her at the scruff of her neck and dragged her out of a door close by.
He ran to a wall on the outside, setting her down. The snowy white wolf, whose name was Alpine, sat up, panting from panic.
"Wh-who are you?" She asked again.
He stared at her, his posture calm, "People call be Kodiak, nothing else, really. Except some nicknames I have like 'bitch.'"
Alpine gave a sigh, calming down and moving to a sit. "Why did you attack me?" She asked.
"I didn't really mean to, but I knew that you would attack me if I tried to just talk to you."
"You're right, you're right." She stood, "Are you going to take me to that random cave gang of yours or-"
Kodiak interrupted, "Yeah, I was planning that. I guess you already know me, so no introductions, right?"
She gave a confused nod before slowly following him, watching her back and keeping alert.
She stared at the small hole, tilting her head, "That's one small cave." Kodiak gave a chuckle and crawled inside, Alpine following along. Once her fluffy head stuck through and she looked inside, she gasped. The cavern was huge, lanterns illuminating the place. Alpine shook her thick fur, slowly following Kodiak. He seemed calm, while she was overwhelmed by scents and sounds. She slowly bounded forward to keep up with Kodiak until they reached the end. He signaled with a flick of his long tail to a cave, to which they both entered. Claw marks etched the walls, and there was a wooden table, with a small moss bed next to it.
Alpine looked to a large claw mark on one of the walls, and she padded over to look at it closer.
Kodiak noticed this, padding over as well, "Cougar. It dug through a weak spot and attacked us all. Left us weak."
Alpine stared up at him, sympathy in her eyes.
He looked down at a necklace that she wore. It was an amethyst, pretty much the same color as her eyes. Alpine looked down too, staring at it.
Kodiak questioned, "Why do you have that?"
Alpine stared down, "No idea. It's pretty, so I guess I kept it."
A sudden crash came from the entrance. They both turned around to see a dark grey wolf with black spots staring at them, panting. The scent of panic and blood came from them.
"They...they're here."
Kodiak straightened, seeming tense, "Who?"
"The leader."
