Cara stood under the dark and dreary sky, her body shaking in sadness as she stood over a grave. An empty grave.

'Here lies Regulus Arcturus Black- Beloved son, brother, and friend.'

Cara fell to her knees, tears streaking her face as rain started to fall down. Sirius, James, Remus, and Peter hadn't joined her, she wanted to say goodbye to someone who had once been the biggest part of her world.

"It's a true tragedy." A voice called from behind Cara, she recognized that voice. The voice had once been nurturing but quickly changed as she left for her schooling.

"Hello Mother, it's been a while." Cara muttered, her hand clutching her wand tightly. Cara's entire body was tense, she was prepared for a battle but she would prefer to start said battle after she said goodbye to her friend.

"He was trying to stop people like you." Cara stood, her anger now flaming from the darkest shade of her heart. She started to glow, she could practically feel the fire burning in the back of her throat.

"And what kind of person is that?" Caroline asked, rising her eyebrow at her 'daughter'. Cara stared at the woman with a grimace.

"Someone who lies to their daughter about who her real mother was, someone who lets their husband abuse a child, someone whom praises a man who fears those who are different--"

"He does not fear anything!" Caroline yelled, striking Cara on the cheek.

"I'm not ready for this conversation. If you'll excuse me I have to say goodbye to my best friend." Cara harshly muttered before leaning down, kissing the grave, and leaving  Calla Lilies, Reggie's favorite flower, on his grave.

"Goodbye, Caroline." And with that Caroline disappeared. Cara was left sitting in the rain, the deep patter of the rain filling her ears. Rosie hadn't visited the grave, she hadn't even tried to accompany Cara.

Cara spoke to Reggie, even though she knew he wasn't in there, she told him of how she was half way through her final school year, how she didn't know what was next for her, how The Marauder's had never replaced him, and never would, and how she missed him more than she had ever believed.

"I love you Reg." She whispered again, before her tears filled her eyes, her heaviness sinking in her heart. Before she started on her way home.
