Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore's POV (Dumlewald!!!)

The year was 1896, it was my 6th year at Hogwarts and Professor Dippet wanted all Gryffindors, Slytherins, Hufflepuffs, and Ravenclaws in the Great Hall because he had an announcement to tell the whole school... I followed a housemate down to the Great Hall and sat next to my best friend- Maddison Kami. Odd last name, I know! Her family is Japanese and so is her boyfriend's- Max Silverlake.

"Al! Albus!" screamed Maddie, getting me back into reality

"What Madds?" I ask

"2 things- 1: stop daydreaming and 2: pay attention to Dippet!" she exclaims, "making" me pay attention to Dippet.

"Blah-blah-blah. We have guests coming to our Hogwarts! Durmstrang and Beauxbatons, coming on October 15! Off to classes all of you" he finished his speech and we headed off to classes. Thank Merlin, my first class was with Maddie and so happens to be Charms!

(TIME JUMP)

It's now October 15 and the whole school is in the Great Hall. Apparently Madison saw my anxiety and "tried" to calm me down.

"Al, calm down. You'll be fine!" she says, Merlin I hope so!

First Beauxbatons came in then the Durmstrang students, just when I thought this was stupid, a certain person caught my eye! It was Ms. Bagshot's great-nephew- Gellert Grindelwald! Merlin's Beard!, yes, we pay visits to each other frequently however, I have never seen him in a school uniform! Merlin, he looked good!

"Albus!" screamed Maddie

"What?" I ask, looking back at her

"Someone fancy your eye?" she asked in a sing-song voice

"Oh shut up! Dippet's talking!" I exclaimed, she rolled her eyes and shut her mouth. After he said his speech, the Beauxbatons ladies, all sat down at the Ravenclaw table while the Drumstrang men sat down at Gryffindor table and Gellert next to me!

"Hello Albus" said Gellert, I felt my face flush red and I managed to mutter a "Hello" back. Merlin, why am I blushing now!?

"Hello! Who are you?" asked Gellert, directing to Maddie.

"Hello! I'm Al's friend, Maddison, Maddison Kami! And you are?" she asked, shaking his hand

"Gellert, Gellert Grinelwald. A friend of Albus'" Gellert said, then at least 5 seconds later, they were laughing and talking. I may have zoned out 'cause I felt as if I wasn't part of their conversation so...

"Al! Albus!" screamed Maddie, bringing me into reality.

"What?" I ask

"C'mon! Dinner's over and we'll be last to leave if you don't hurry! Speaking of which... I've got to get going! By the way, Dippet said Gellert could stay in your dorm. I'll be in the Hufflepuff common room! Have fun!" she called, racing after Max.

"You coming Albus?" asked Gellert

"Coming" I say, following my crush, yes ever since Ms. Bagshot introduced me to him, I fell head over heels for him... so... I don't know what he feels about me. Anyways, he lead the way to Gryffindor tower where the portrait asked

"Password?", Gellert looked at me,

'Really Maddie, you could have at least told him the password' I curse her in my head

"Pumpkin Pie" I say, the fat lady nods and lets us in.

"Really? That's the password?" Gellert asked

"Yes. It changes at least once a month. This month is "Pumpkin pie", next month "Turkey stuffing", and December is probably "Fig Pudding", why do you ask?" I ask

"Just wondering" he replies, pulling on his pyjama trousers. I fall back on my bed and pull the drapes, falling into a deep sleep...

(TIME JUMP)

December 15, 1896 the winter ball is coming up. Everywhere I look, I see couples together, either snogging or talking about whatever. I keep my head down and keep walking to Charms. Maddie, by my side

"Al, what's wrong?" she asked,

"Nothing" I say, then I look at her, but she was gone.

"Bloody Hell! How does she do that!" I exclaimed, as I walked into Charms..

Tonight's the Winter Ball. Maddie's going with Max and I'm going alone apparently.

That's when I heard a knock on the door,

"COME IN!" I yell, messing with my tie and in comes,

"Gellert!" I exclaim

"Albus- I like you" he said, wait what?

"What do you-?" I start

"I mean, I like you more than a friend" Gellert say, my face goes red

"I like you too Gellert" I say

"Good. Or this would have been awkward" he states

"What would-" I'm cut off by a pair of lips on mine, I sink in the kiss. When we pull apart,

"Finally! You two confess! Damn, can't believe it took you, what 3 months to a year!" said a voice by the door, we turned to see, Maddie smiling with joy.

"Maddison!" Gellert said

"Ok! 2 things- 1: please call me Maddie and 2: ask him" is all she says and leaves the room

"Ask me what?" I ask Gellert, who is now down on one knee

"Albus, when my great-aunt introduced me to you, I could never take my eyes off you. I just thought when your brother was around I couldn't flirt with you, but now if only you take the chance I can. So Albus, will you marry me?" Gellert asked, I nodded. He stood up, put the ring on my finger and kissed me. When we entered the room to the Ball, everyone's heads were turned to us. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Maddie smiling and I swear I saw her wink and us.

"Al, may I have this dance?" Gellert asked

"You may" I reply and we dance to the music. When it ended, he dipped me and kissed me in front of the whole school!! Life was great!!!...
