"welcome my children. in this room you shall explore the noble art of divination," the professor in the front of the gaudy room droned on.
"in this room, you shall see if you possess... the sight."
"the sight?" seamus whispered to stella.
"what, does she think we're blind or something?" dean added on.
"guys it's rude to interrupt."
"yeah shut up boneheads," stella chuckled.
"i am professor trelawney. together we shall cast ourselves into the future!" the woman exclaimed.
"this term we shall be focusing on tasseomancy which is the art of reading tea leaves - so please take the cup of the person sitting opposite of you." the professor started as she made her way across the classroom. she reached seamus and grabbed his head.
"first, you must broaden your minds! first, you must looks beyond!"
"what a load of rubbish!" the girl who seemed to appear from thin air exclaimed.
"where did you come from?" the redhead exclaimed.
"me? i've been here all this time."
the professor made her way over to neville, "you boy! is your grandmother quite well?"
"i think so," neville timidly responded.
"i wouldn't be so sure of that. give me the cup," she reached for the cup in deans hand. "ooh. pitty," she tutted.
she made her way over to the weasley boy. "your aura is pulsing dear. are you in the beyond? i think you are!"
"sure," the boy shakily responded.
"look into the cup, tell me what you see!"
"oh yeah..." the boy flipped through the pages of the book. "well, harry's got a sort of wonky cross... that's trials and suffering. and, uh, that there could be the sun, and that's happiness, so... you're gonna suffer... but you're gonna be happy about it..."
the proffessor asked for the cup but once she grabbed it she started panicking. "my dear... you have... the gim."
"the grin what's the grin?" seamus asked from beside stella.
"not the grin you idiot the grim," bem replied, "taking form of a giant spectral dog, it's among the darkest omens in our world. it's an omen... of death."
