"Dream, Dream!"

Dream spun around as she heard her name, trying to pinpoint where the voice was coming from, but she saw no one, only darkness. The she heard the call again, causing her to turn her head to the other side.

"H-h-hello? Is s-someone there?"

It was silent for a few minutes, and Dream didn't know where she was or how she ended up here, it made her really scared. But then the voice spoke again.

"Dream, you have to wake up sleepy head, wake up little sunshine."

Just then she could make out a blurry figure from a distance, but it looked like a skeleton, wearing fancyoutfit and a crown with a moon symbol carved on it. She couldn't further make out how he looks like, but he somehow looked familiar, yet she doesn't know who he is, and had decided that she slowly began to walk towards him while she began to call out.

"Who are you? Where am I?"

"..."

He said nothing, only turning around and started walking away, but he did eventually said something as he disappeared in the dark.

"Wake up Dream, you can't stay asleep forever."

...

Pain, that's all what Dream could feel was horrifying pain, and to make it more worse, she was feeling very cold and unable to move her body. She slowly opened her eye sockets, only to see a faint moonlight shining on her, though winced as the moon was a little too bright for her. Dream groaned, but then blinked her eye sockets to adjust to see where she was, though was shocked as Dream saw that she was inside a prison cell.

'W-where in the name of stars am I?'

Slowly, but surely, Dream managed to push herself up, but hissed as pain shot through her hole body, though managed to sit up and lean against the wall. Dream scanned through the whole cell, she was sitting on a bed that faced the window, even though she was covered by a blanket, it was still cold. As Dream looked her right, there were bars that obviously blocked her freedom, and to the left was a wall. The cell was actually small, there was barely space to walk around. After that, she decided to inspect herself, only to see that she was covered in bandages close to a mummy. Dream was also just wearing a oversized plain old T-shirt that could be mistaken from a afar for a dirty lose dress. Just then a huge burning pain shot straight through her chest that caused Dream to grip it and inhales sharply before coughing uncontrollably.

' What the hell is happening to me!?'

After the coughing fit had stopped, Dream breathed quickly to catch her breathe, only to slow down when she had calmed down. Just then footsteps was heard, causing Dream to look to see who was walking down the steps, and saw it was another skeleton. The skeleton stopped in his tracks when he saw that Dream was awake, and had cried out happily.

"Thank fucking Asgore that you're awake! Do you know how torturing it was for us to watch you for the last 3 weeks, 3 weeks waiting for you to bloody wake up!?"

Dream blinked in surprise, wondering what this guy was talking about, though was shocked at the information of just coming out of a coma. After coming over of her shock, Dream started to memorize how the other skeleton looked like. There were black substance that was running out of both of his eye sockets, wore a blue dirty jacket, and dark brown pants with snickers, though Dream felt uncomfortable when she saw he had a knife with him. And lastly his soul was visible, instead of a upside down heart, it was form of a bullseye sign that was glowing red. The skeleton didn't seem to like Dream ignoring him, so this time he raised his voice, that made the poor skeleton flinch.

"Oi! I'm talking to you bitch! Don't fucking ignore me!"

"W-where am I?"

"In our castle, where else dummy?"

Dream was rather confused, this guy acted as if he knew her, but she obviously don't recognize him, so she could only stare. The skeleton was quite skeptical at Dream's behavior, he was expecting her to know. But before he could ask a question, she beat him to it with one, but what she asked made him stare at her in shock.

"Who are you? And why am I in a cell?"

"... You're kidding, right? Are you pulling my leg or something?"

"N-no, I'm not pulling any legs, I-I really don't know who you are, or why I'm here."

"..."

"..."

After a few seconds of staring, the guy suddenly turned around and bolted up the stairs, causing Dream to blink in surprise, but then began to wonder if she said something wrong. Dream then sighed and slowly but painfully wrapped herself in the blanket, feeling very cold as the wind blew inside of her cell. To be honest she was terrified and confused at the same time as million questions ran through her mind. Just what happened to her? Why couldn't she remember anything except her name? Why is she locked up in a cell? What does her captors want from her? And what are they going to do to her? Her train of thoughts were abruptly interrupted as she heard, once again, footsteps by the stairs, but instead of the guy she had encountered first, it was a different skeleton, but he was covered that looked like tar, or goop, it was difficult to see since it was dark. He had four tentacles behind him, his right eye socket was completely covered by the black substance. The guy wore a plain black jacket with a hoodie, with short pants and, strangely, slippers. Dream raised her non-existing eyebrow at the choice of clothing, but said nothing of it and decided on her main question.

"Who are you?"

The black skeleton seem to frown at her question, she could tell that he was unhappy, in fact, she swore she could feel a hint of anger but guilt coming from him. Though it quickly disappeared as he took one of his hand out of his jacket's pocket and leaned his arm against the bars as he stared coldly at her.

"So you really don't remember anything huh?"

"N-no, I don't, the o-only thing I can r-remember is just my name."

The black skeleton stared at her for a few seconds, but then he mumbled to himself, and Dream could hear him saying along the line of "I really done it this time". He then sighed before looking back at Dream as she stared back in confusion.

' She's definitely not lying, I would be able to tell. I'm a total stranger to her now.'

"..."

"..."

Having enough of the silence, the guy removed himself from the bars and turned around to leave, but he stopped by the stairs. None of them spoke a single word, but then he spoke up that caught her attention.

"My name is Nightmare."

With that he walked back up the stairs, leaving Dream as she blinked at him for a few seconds while watching him disappear. As Nightmare was out of sight and far from ear range, he stopped for a few seconds and began to think, though gritted his teeth and balled his hands into fists.

' Can't believe that last battle we had cost her memories, was I really that harsh to her?'

After letting out a few breaths, and then a sigh, Nightmare continued walking until he reached the meeting room. As he walked in, he was greeted by the sight of all of 5 of his team who was staring at Nightmare. He walked passed all of the and towards his thrown before sitting on it, then he rested his head on his hands before he spoke.

"It seems that Dream truly did lost her memories, she didn't recognize me. The only thing that she remembers is just her name."

"... So what are we going to do? Without her memories how are we going to get information out of her?"

"W-w-we help Dr-ream rega-a-ain her memo-o-ories."

This made Nightmare frown, but he agreed that it was the only way to get information out of Dream is to help her get her memories back. They were hesitant at first, not really familiar of taking care of their hostage. But then after a few debates, they gave in and agree on helping Dream getting her memories back.
