Chapter 2
I bit my nails nervously as I looked around at the people filling the churches main room. I sighed as I walked up to two women sitting by a table with lists.
"Hi can I help you."said the woman with red hair
"Yes um I need to give you some money for the snack bar that ya'll have."I said
"Okay and who is your sister?"she said
"Um Carol Schober."I said as she smiled
"Your Carol's older sister?"she asked
"Yes ma'am I am my name is Claudia."I said waving lamely
"I'm Lissa."she said as she high lighted my sisters and my name
"Okay how much are you putting in?"She said looking at me
"Twenty each."I said handing her the fourty bucks
"Okay thank you! Have a good time at church camp I hope to see you soon!"Lissa said as I walked away
I walked around for alittle bit not knowing where to go until I finally found Hannah standing with her little sister Emily and some of our friends that she convinced to come.
"Okay Carol you have money now."I said as I stood next to Hannah
"Okay."Carol said as she ran off with Emily and I was left with Hannah, Sierra and her sister Jasmin or Jazzy as she like to be called
"So when do we leave?"I asked looking at my phone
"Here soon they just have to go over the rules and then we will be leaving."Hannah said as everyone made their way to the main room
"Okay everyone can I have your attention!"said a man "Thank you. I am going to go over the rules and I'm then I am going to tell you where the youth and the kids will be riding. Rule number one NO ELECTRONICS! Rule two..."He continued on but I eventually zoned out until Hannah smacked my shoulder
"Hm?"I mumbled
"Come on we are in the van and I dont wanna be stuck behind Mikey again."Hannah said with a distgusted look on her face
I laughed at her while we walked to the van and her, Sierra, Jazzy and I sat on the second to last row where two boys where sitting. One was skinny with brown hair and brown eyes and he looked bored and was texting on a phone with a camo case around it. The other boy was blond with extremely curly hair and he was kinda chunky. I blushed alittle when he looked up and his cristal blue eyes met mine. I looked away and kept my head down while Hannah and the other girls started talking.
About an hour into the trip Hannah was talking and laughing with the two guys in the back and Sierra and her sister. I heard Hannah laugh a little and then she whimpered.
"Ow Mikey what the heck!"she screamed quietly
I turned to see the blonde boy smiling evily and without thinking I turned around and slapped him. Everyone was quiet for a minute and then my hand flew over my jaw dropped mouth. Hannah looked from him to me as we stared at eachother. The boy sitting next to the blonde started laughing a little. Mikey shot him a glare and then slapped him in the back of the head.
"Jordan shut up."Mikey said as his cheeks turned a little pink
I turned back around in my seat and sighed looking out the window. We needed to get to the pit stop and fast so I could get some fresh air.
