Welcome everyone. I'm Savannah or Anastasia, a baby witch in the broom closet. I have been practicing for a while, and decided to share some of my tips, tricks, and what I learned so far. Let's begin with some vocabulary.
What is a witch? Well a witch, to put it simply is a person who practices magick or the Craft. Witches who hide their practice due to reasons which may be personal, or can be something like being unsafe in your area, or the disapproval of parents/a significant other.
Also, no. I did not spell that wrong, I meant to write "magick." Why? Well magick is art of utilizing natural forces around us to bring about change. While magic is illusions and tricks designed to entertain. The "K" was brought back into use by Aleister Crowley in the 1900's to differentiate it from magic, the slight of hand tricks that became popular in the time.
These are the basic things you need to know for now. As I update, I will add more terminology here- even if explained in the chapter anyway- for convenience.
