Nina

It was like the world collapsed, and my heart started beating rapidly. We promised to forget each other, because hell, it would be impossible to be together when our families despise each other.

I guess it's impossible to get rid of love.

I heard Mom yelling at somebody. I turned around, shocked by moms rudeness.

"You won't take it. I had my eyes on this dress and you stole it. Now give it to me." mom harshly said.

"Catherine, Gemma picked this out first, please." Anne pleaded.

"Get out of my sight, and leave the dress. Your daughter won't even look-." I cut mom off by walking over to mom, snatching the dress from her.

"Mom, stop it, you're being rude."

I gave the dress to Anne, smiling warmly as she smiled back. Why is this family so nice?"

"Nina, what the hell are you doing?! Don't you know who they are?" Mom yelled.

"I don't give a damn about who they are, you're treating them bad, and it's disgusting." I said, anger boiling through my veins.

"Mind your tone, young lady."

"No. You mind your behavior. And stop treating people like trash."

I know I'm being bad, but really. Mom was disgusting me right now.

She stormed off without saying a word, and I knew I pissed her off.

Dylan smiled at me as he walked out, and I returned it.

"I'm sorry about that." I said, turning to Anne.

"It's okay. Thank you, sweetheart." she smiled warmly.

"Let me pay for that. Just saying sorry won't cut what she just did. I never thought she would become like this."

"Nina, no." Harry said.

"Harry, please, I insist."

They tried to stop me, but I already swiped my credit card."

"Nina!" Anna shouted.

"Have a wonderful day." I smiled and walked out.

I'm so dead when I go home.

"What the hell did you think you were doing?!" Mom shouted.

"Did you see your behavior? You were treating them so bad mom, it hurt me instead. And why do you hate them so much?! Why can't you guys just be friends and let this stupid feud end?! Speaking of feud, what the hell happened?!" I shouted, my voice breaking.

"Don't you raise your voice at me! And that's none of your concern!"

"Yes, it is my concern because you know what? I went to that stupid camping trip last year with their son Harry and let me tell you, he was the sweetest person, and I became friends with him. What's so bad about even talking-."

"HARRY'S MOTHER MARRIED UNCLE MARTIN, MY BROTHER, AND YOU KNOW WHAT SHE DID? SHE BROKE HIS HEART AND HE DIED! THATS WHY I DONT TALK TO THEM, ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?" Mom yelled. She held her head in her hands. "I loved my brother, my only brother, and I lost him because of her." She broke into tears.

Shit, I am so stupid. I should have never asked her.

"Mom, I-I'm sorry." I stuttered.

"Just go." she turned away from me.

I slowly walked away, hoping she would forgive me.
