Nina
Sookie took me shopping for the engagement party tonight, and Harry went with some other friend. We got up early to roam the streets of Paris.
Sookie and I walked into a store full of dresses. All of them were so pretty, I couldn't choose which one to get.
"Hey, just a heads up, I'm paying." I said. Harry and I managed to get money for the trip.
"No, I insist. I'm gonna pay for yours too."
"Oh no, I'm paying for the both of us, consider it a gift from me." I smiled.
"Ok fine, but only this time."
We looked around the store, debating on which one to get because they were all so pretty. I wants to buy the entire store but that would cost a fortune. Sookie finally set her eyes on one, it was white strapless lace dress that went up to her knees.
"How does this look?" she asked, looking at the dress up and down, then darted her eyes towards me.
"That looks nice, but look around more." I smiled. "Why did you wait last minute to buy your dress?"
"Well I was really busy, I had no time." she chuckled.
We walked around, finding a few dresses and hanging them on our hand.
I found a black dress mostly covered in sparkling diamonds, and I fell in love with it.
"Sookie, how does this look?"
Her eyes popped, "Get that immediately."
I laughed, "Do you think Harry will like it?"
"Sweetie, he's gonna like it so much you guys will be late to my party." I felt the rosy color flush on my cheeks, and I shyly smiled.
We stayed there a bit more until she finally found a dress. It was a long strapless red dress, which would take anyone's breath away.
We went up to the cashier, who had really weird hair. I decided to ignore that. I put the dresses on the counter, taking out my wallet. He wrapped them carefully and slipped them into a bag, handing me the bag.
"750.60." I was kinda shocked because he said it in English, I mean, I have to tell the people I don't speak French then they give me the best answer they could in English.
"How did you know I don't speak French?" I asked curiously.
"Madame, you don't look French to me. I alway have English customer in my shop." I heard his French accent say. He said some incorrect words which made me smile. I took out the money and handed it to him.
He handed me some change and said, "Merci."
"De rein." Sookie whispered.
"De rein." I said loudly, grinning.
We walked out, and I asked Sookie what 'De Rein' meant.
"It means you're welcome." she said.
I was starving, and so was Sookie, so we found a place called 'Foucher', and we walked in.
The room smelt so sweet. There were sweets everywhere, and the looked delicious.
"Oh god, it smells like heaven." I chuckled, picking up a box of candy.
"Let's get the croissants, and something else." she suggested. I grabbed the box of candy and a small pouch filled with cookies. This place was so cute.
We got stuff to eat, which we put to the side and we ate the croissants. I had never tasted anything more delicious. They were so good.
"I love this place." I breathed out, admiring the streets.
"Me too." Sookie smiled. Gee, I wonder what it's like to live in Paris. If I was living here, I'd probably never be home.
"Nina, babe, I gotta get home and get ready, so can I drop you back off at the hotel?"
Damnit, I wanna stay longer.
"Yea sure, you can't waste another minute! Let's go."
She dropped me back off at the hotel, and I walked inside, kind of sad that I couldn't explore. But she needed all that time to get ready. It's a big day for her.
I unlocked the door, noticing Harry wasn't here. I threw the bag and myself on the bed. I love this place so much.
Then my mind wandered off to Thomas. I wonder how he was doing. He was the only one I trusted in my family. He was the only one who listened. I missed him a lot.
My thoughts were interrupted as Harry unlocked the door, seeing me and smirked.
"Hey, how was your day?" He said, putting a shopping bag down, joining me in the bed.
"It was amazing, I just got sad when we had to leave. I want to explore this place. It's so pretty."
"Well, we can explore Paris until we are here. and we are here for 3 weeks, and that sounds good to me." he chuckled.
"Yea. Anyway, let's get ready. Don't wanna be late."
It took me a while to get my makeup done. I had applied a smokey eye with heavy mascara and winged eyeliner, with pink lipstick which looked more like a nude color, and I found that very weird.
I then wore the dress, admiring how it looked. Harry came out of the bathroom, looking so handsome. His hair was the same, styles up, but his suit clutched to his muscles and I was blown away.
Goddamn.
"You look... Amazing." I breathed out. It was really hard to handle myself right now.
"And you look sexy." he smirked as I blushed. "Can you tie this?" He asked, holding out a gray tie.
I went over and wrapped it around his collar, bending it back down. He sneaked his arms around my waist, pulling me closer.
"We don't have to go, we can just stay here and-."
"Shut up Harry." I laughed.
I completed the complicated process of tying his tie, and then I grabbed my heels, putting them on as Harry put his shoes on.
He looked so good tonight, I was gonna collapse at the sight of him. I was so lucky to have him.
"You ready?" He asked.
"Yes."
Long chapter and from now on they're all gonna be long! Yayy!
