"You've been really motivated lately," Alex said as he wrapped his arms around my waist and laid his chin on my shoulder. I had been training for hours on end on my combat technique, and to tell you the truth, I have been motivated. Well, why wouldn't I? After someone's murdered your father and you know you have the power to do something about it, then of course I'd be motivated. I wasn't weak, after all. I did take down almost 8 body guards and a madman trying to destroy London; then again, I wasn't alone.
I knew that I could probably do better with the Hawkeye Task Force, but I haven't talked to the boys in almost 2 years. Besides, it wouldn't be complete without Louis. And Liam... Well I actually do not want a part of him. After saving me from imminent death and taking me back home, he couldn't even manage a simple phone call; especially when I needed it most. I shook off the anger and focused on the weaponry in my possession.
"Yeah. I've got something to fight for," I smiled as Alex briefly kissed my cheek.
I think this might have been obvious by now, but yeah, Alex is my boyfriend.
"Need any help practicing?" Alex asked.
"Nah, I can take you down any day. I need someone more... Professional." I said and I smirked. He mocked some sort of shocked expression.
"Oh, you went there. How about we test out your so called 'professional' abilities, shall we?"
"Sure, but I'm not responsible for your injuries."
"How about we make this a bit more interesting?"
"How so?"
"Loser has to kiss the winner."
"Deal."
He shook his head in anticipation and I got into my usual stance. We counted off after three and he eyed me carefully.
The fight didn't have any sort of intensity, but since I was a better fighter and he was stronger, it expressed some form of equality. But at one point his strength worked to his advantage and I ended up with both my wrists pinned to the ground.
"I guess I win this round," he said playfully. As I leaned in to kiss him, I took his distraction as an opportunity and switched my position so that he was now pinned to the ground.
"Rule #1: Never, ever get distracted. Even if it's just practice." I said and a smile formed on my face. I sat on his lap and he once again wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Well how about we practice on something that involves using our lips..."
"I don't think we need much practice," I said and he pulled me into a kiss.
Our kisses were sweet, which I liked, as oppose to urgency and demand. We spent the next 2 minutes in each other's arms, when the door barged open.
"SUR-" the person stopped in mid-sentence and looked embarrassingly at us once he realize what he was doing. He continued his sentence, but with a tone of confusion. "-Prise?"
