Peach stood in front of the mirror already dreading getting out of bed and agreeing on joining the party being held in the mansion, apparently Romave's mother loves offering their mansion to guests who wish to celebrate events and right now a guest who is a "family friend" is celebrating a birthday.
Bakit ba kailangan pa magbihis? Akala ko ba perfect na iyong itsura kong pulubi?! Ragged at kung ano-ano pang kalaitan ng walangyang iyon?
"Michelle!"
Romave calls from outside her room, Michelle then rolls her eyes. Piece of shit no longer calls her Peach.
"Andyan na!"
She gives herself one last look in the mirror. Hindi naman masama, in fairness ang ganda ko. In fairness din effective iyong mga sabon nila, glowing skin si inday! Akin na kaya itong damit? Magkano kaya halaga nito pag binenta sa ukay?
"There you are baby"
Hala bastos di man lang kumatok! She eyed him, and damn he looked good. She was about to throw an insult when she noticed his father standing behind him, she instead plastered a smile. Romave hugged her and kissed her cheek. She turned to him and sweetly asked,
"Missed me?"
"Always" Romave responded with the fakest sweet voice she ever heard, sarap saksakin ng punyeta. He then intertwined their hands and dragged her out the room leading them downstairs and in the ball hall where his mother stole her and gushed about the party while Romave went who knows where.
"Peach do you see that girl? She used to chase my son everywhere, she was so obsessed I was afraid he would one day punch her"
Peach turned to the woman Mrs. Esme was pointing at and ... ang ganda naman niyan para maghabol sa gong gong na 'yon, mas kapani-paniwala pa kung yong loko ang naghahabol sa kanya. She then noticed a tall guy not far and saw Romave's friends each holding a glass of wine. Mga lasinggero din naman pala mga 'to, sosyal nga lang kasi wine kung sa squatter pa 'to Red Horse lang sapat na. She excused herself from Romave's mother and walked towards them, and Myron immediately noticed her.
"Damn girl, looking real good"
The other three guys also turned to her and eyed her from head to toe and they all smirked at her.
"Jude you owe me 10k, nag dress si Peach"
"Joshua you owe me 10k she's not wearing heels"
They all looked at her feet, and yes she was not wearing heels. She was wearing converse. It was silent for a few seconds before the assholes laughed while pointing her shoes. Mabulunan sana kayo ng laway at mamatay.
"When are you supposed to act out your heartbreaking and dramatic breakup?" Myron asked while the others were still laughing their hearts out. Oo nga pala pinag-usapan nila ang dramatic ending ng relasyon nila dalawang araw bago maganap ang party, sa simula ayaw ni Peach na manira ng party ng ibang tao pero pagkatapos lagyan ng 200k ni Romave ang kakagawang bank account niya ay agad na siyang pumayag
"Dumping hindi breakup. Dapat ko daw siya idump ng todo sa harap ng lahat ng andito"
Mas lalo lang napatawa sila Joshua, Andrew at Jude. Jude was already turning red and Myron stepped towards him to calm him down,
"I can't believe he's gonna do this" Jude wheezed. Parang sea lion na naghihingalo ang loko.
"It's killing two birds with one stone, get rid of the fake lover, look pathetic so he won't be forced to marry anymore and get everyone's attention"
"Andrew that's three, and still napaka dumb ng idea niya"
Yes it is dumb, but what can Peach do? She'll be able to humiliate Romave and get paid it's a win win situation. She looked around and people were starting to crowd, she suddenly felt sorry for whoever the celebrant is because the party will totally be ruined. She then spotted Romave talking to a staff responsible for the party, he's smiling. A genuine smile not that shit eating grin he usually gives her. It looks good on him, if only he smiles like that all the time and not like a Cheshire cat then maybe they'd get along fine. Enough thinking of getting along once this party is done she'll get paid and will go home just like what she promised Luna on the phone a few nights ago.
