Chapter 4 Fearless Leader Once Again

5 hours later in the Village

Inside of some sort of building. Deery is there, laying on the bed, still unconscious. But soon she slowly opens her eyes, rising, and rubs her eyes.

????: Hey, You're awake!

Deery looks to her left to see the pilot who operated the helicopter.

Deery: Oh... It's you... The one driving the flying propeller machine.

????: Yeah, that's me. How are you feeling?

Deery: I... I think I'll be okay.

????: That's a relief. Well, we haven't properly introduced ourselves yet so let's get to it. I'm Brock, Brock Barrus.

Deery: Nice to meet you, Brock. I'm Deery. (notice that his right leg was wrapped up) What happened to your leg?

Moo Snuckel: Stinger missile. The chopper crashed down and I got my leg broke.

Deery: (finally remembers) Oh... Where are the others? Are they okay?

Moo Snuckel: Yeah, they're okay. Jaune's with Jared on a mission. Cartoonz, Delirious, and Ohm are just outside.

Deery felt happy that the ones who saved her are alive but she soon notices the other pilot was not there with Moo Snuckel.

Deery: Where's the other pilot guy. I- Is he okay too?

Moo Snuckel: (sighs and turns sad) He... He didn't make it.

Deery: Oh... I- I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you sad.

Moo Snuckel: (looks at her and smiles) It's okay. His memories will be always remembered. His name was Marcus by the way, Marcus Allen.

Deery: I- I wish I get to know him more.

Moo Snuckel: I know. I'm sure he wanted it the same way as well.

????: Ah! You're awake.

Deery and Moo Snuckel look to the right, seeing the doctor coming towards them.

Doctor: You are lucky to be alive. How are you?

Deery: I think I feel okay.

Doctor: Good. I'll get your friends outside. Wait for a moment.

The Doctor went out of the building. Deery continues to talk with Brock for a bit until H2O Delirious and Cartoonz came through with their happy smiles.

Cartoonz: Hey Deery! Are you alright?

Deery: I- I'm fine.

H2O Delirious: Thank god that you're okay. Also, welcome home!

Deery: W- Wait. I'm home?

H2O Delirious and Cartoonz nodded. They began to explaining everything, including their situation. When they are done explaining, Deery was left speechless.

Deery: W- Wow... I- I don't know what to say.

H2O Delirious: I know, right? Well, now that you know, you need to rest now.

Deery: B- But what about you guys?

Cartoonz: Sorry girl. No rest for us soldiers. We gotta make sure that there aren't any white fang forces coming to this village.

H2O Delirious: Yep! We gotta watch over these folks. Anyways, we need to go now.

Cartoonz: Yeah. Let us know if you two want something okay?
