Morning time, at the ocean, a ship suddenly passes by as it's heading somewhere. It reveals to be the Gerald Ford Aircraft Carrier. At the backside of the ship, revealing it to be a balcony, Jaune was there, relaxing alone and looking at his cross necklace as he is holding it.
Flashback

An unknown soldier's hand was seen and it was holding a cross necklace. The unknown soldier reveals to be Sandman as he was looking at a young Jaune Arc in his military gear uniform and Jaune is looking at Sandman. Sandman was giving out the cross necklace to Jaune.
Jaune: What is that?
Sandman: It's a cross necklace. I know you don't know much about it but I'll tell you about it later.
Jaune: (takes it and looks at the cross necklace up close) Wow... Thank you, sir.
Sandman: You did a great job out there. Once this war is over, Frost, Grinch, Truck, and I will show you everything back in the United States. You got a lot of things to learn since you are from another world.
Jaune: Really?
Sandman: Yep. We'll never leave you alone once this war is over. You'll be sticking with us when we get back home. We'll help you out whatever we can.
Jaune: I....(smiles while in tears) Thank you, sir... For everything.
Sandman: (smiles and taps on Jaune's shoulder) No problem, Jaune.
Flashback ends
Suddenly, a single tear fell on the floor. It reveals that Jaune was crying a bit as he remembers a kind gift from Sandman. Not only the gift but also the good times he spent with his old squad. Jaune soon stops crying by using his right hand to clean off his tears and looks at the cross necklace again. As he is looking at his necklace, he hears someone walking behind him.
????: Captain Arc?
Jaune turns around and saw Lugo standing. It also reveals that his dog tag and right shoulder reveal to be that Jaune Arc's rank is Captain.
John: You alright sir? This is the 10th time you've been here alone.
Jaune: Yeah... I'm fine...
John: You sure?
Jaune: Don't worry about it, I'm fine. Anyways, something you want?
John: It's General Miller, sir. Were being called to the briefing room.
Jaune: Briefing? Heh, looks like we're getting another mission. Alright, let's go.
Lugo nodded and Jaune walks into the entrance doorway while Lugo follows him behind. On the landing deck, there were a lot of people there as they are working and being taught by Laura Gibson as she is there with them, teaching and guiding them.
Laura: Make sure those jets don't have any damage before taking off.
Female Deer Flight Deck Crew: Yes, ma'am.
Laura: Hey! Be careful with those missiles! Do it a bit slow!
Male Ordnancemen: Yea, ma'am! Sorry, ma'am!
Laura: Always double-check the fuel line if they are detached off the jet.
Cat Male Aviation Fuel Handler: Yes, ma'am.
Laura: Alright, keep it going people! I want this deck nice and clean!
Down in the Hangay Bay, Nogla is sitting on top of 1 jet as he is teaching the new cadets how to fly an aircraft. Not only Nogla but Moo Snuckel is there with him and his right leg is fully recovered. He and Nogla are teaching the cadets how to fly using their aircraft.
