'Ah~ It actually rained today. I forgot my umbrella in my rooom~' I thought to myself as I stared blankly at the very wet front gates of Shiratorizawa. I was planning to get out of the school to drop by the convenient store. Haa~ the idiot that I am.

"Why wasn't the buildings interconnected so this wouldn't be a problem."

"Uh Semi-san?" I turned to the direction of the voice that called my name. It's Shirabu holding a vibrant green umbrella."You want to share? I'm dropping by the store, though."

"Uh— sure! I was heading there anyway!" I said as I reach for his umbrella. It only makes sense that I'm the one to hold the umbrella cause I'm taller. "I'll carry it for us hehe."

                              ***

I was thankful that I wasn't wet from the rain, but I'm definitely damp from sweating too much. Why am I so nervous beside this person?

Right, because I'm angry at him from taking my place as the setter. Nah. I'm totally chill about that. Maybe because I feel inferior to him? Eh, I don't think so. Maybe—

Before I continued being occupied in my own mind I notice a delivery van heading towards us in high speed. Of course we're in a safe distance because we're walking in the fenced sidewalk, but the road is full of water puddles that would definitely splash on us. Before the van could hit the puddles on the road, I pushed Shirabu towards the wall beside us and shielded him with my body, using the umbrella to shield my back as well.

Then, splash!

Big droplets of murky water rained behind us, I even felt the bottom of my pants getting wet from the splash from the damn van. Uhg, it's fine as long as there's no stains that made it's way on this annoyingly white uniform.

"Uh, are you alright?" I asked Shirabu without looking at him.

"I'm fine, but this wasn't entirely necessary." He replied. I swung my head towards his direction. My breath hitched, and my gut fluttered wildly. His face is so close, merely inches away. His vibrant brown eyes framed with thin but long lashes were boring in to my mine. For a moment the sound of rain and traffic faded from the background, the only thing I hear is the sound of my heart as if it's beating beside my ears.

No, I don't hate this person.

I might actually like him instead.

"Semi-san! Here!" Said a familiar voice from the outside of the event area. I followed the direction of the voices that kept shouting my name. Then I finally spotted Goshiki frantically waving his arm so I can see him. Well, they are technically not that hard to find since they're litterally a group of 6-foot-tall giants, you can practically find them whether you like it or not.

I carried some of the equipments to the truck, sling mg guitar to my back, and headed towards their direction, practically skipping on my steps. Did I already say that I was very happy?

As I approach the group, I noticed that he's still not with them. So I did hallucinate in the middle of a performance after all? God that's so embarrassing now that I've realized it. But of all the things I'd hallucinate it had to be him? Haha I'm hopeless.

"Semi-semi~" Tendou greeted me first. Then everyone gathered around and greeting me individually, introducing me to whoever they have with them. And I actually have confirmed that it's Goshiki's girlfriend. Look at this boy!

"Man, your daughter has grown a lot since the last time I saw her." I said to Reon as I pinch his daughter's cheeks.

"I know right? She's growing fast, I can't believe it as well."
