Shirabu was right, that crispy salmon onigiri did tastes better. Even better than the tuna one, I gotta admit. That meal was energizing I might actually do my assignments right now.

Was it really because of the meal, or was it Shirabu?

I stared outside the window of my dorm room. The sky has cleared by now, and the humid afternoon sky is casting an orange glow on everything it touches. Warm and beautiful. Just like him.

Those vivid brown eyes, the bridge of his nose that is lightly peppered with freckles and his small lips— ah I'm being embarrassing agaain~

He's even caught me a couple of times staring, maybe he's starting to think that I'm some sort of pervert. Uh, embarrassing. My face feels so warm right now. What the heck is happening to me?

Right, I'll do my assignments later, I'm going to take a shower first.

I stood up from my bed and started making my way towards the closet where I hang my towel. But by half of the room I noticed something bright green at the hooks behind the door. An umbrella. Shirabu's umbrella! Ahg! I forgot to give it to him.

Should I give it to him now or— wait will I be too obvious if I give it to him right now? Well, why would I be obvious? It's not that I want to see him so bad.

Uhg, why am I hesitating? This isn't even something normal people worry about! We're— friends? Sort of? And where both men! Right! I'll give it to him on my way to the shower area!

Ah— I ended up going to his dorm room before showering anyway.

Well, I'm already here. Can't be helped, right?

I took in a big huff of air before going in for a couple of knocks on the door. For a moment I thought no one was going to answer but upon waiting for a couple of seconds I finally heard the click of the lock from the other side, then the door slowly opened. In anticipation my breath stopped as a figure emerges from the other side of the doorway.

Black hair, a couple inches shorter, thick rimmed glasses and if I remembered correctly, he's a second year as well. But definitely not Shirabu.

"Yes?" The guy spoke.

"Ah, I was wondering if this is Shirabu's dorm?" I asked, wondering if I got the room mistaken, even though I knew I got the info right.

"Yes, I'm his roommate. His not here, though. Left a couple of minutes ago with that guy from the basketball club."

"Guy from the basketball club?" I curiously asked to the black haired boy. I have never heard about this guy before. But then again, I have no right to stick my nose into his business.

"Yeah, they're practically together all the time."

                              ***

Who the heck was that guy? I've never notice Shirabu with anyone in particular? But to be really quite honest, I've never bumped into him outside of the volleyball club as much.

I went with my original plan to go and have a shower. I left the umbrella to his roommate and now I'm currently walking my way to the shower area. Loudly filling the deserted staircase with the sound of heavy, despaired foot steps.

I'm not even going to hide the fact that I was disappointed about not seeing him and even more disheartened that he's out with another friend. But well, as I've said, I know that I'm not entitled to feel that way because—well we're not even friends in the first place.
