(Y/n) POV

'...And that's how me and my fated rival Albion, the white dragon of supremacy, became sacred gears...' finished Ddraig. I was currently sat in class staring into space as I talked to Ddraig. He just finished telling me the story of how he and Albion were turned into sacred gears during the Great War. Though...white dragon of supremacy, huh? Sounds like a problem for all bla-

*Take 2*

'White dragon of supremacy Huh...sounds like it'll be tough for Issa, considering she will have some sort of "fated battle of destiny" against Albion's host right?' I thought, to which I could somehow feel Ddraig nodding in my mind

'Yes, Albion is a very tough opponent indeed and also my equal, it's all up to the host to gain the edge over him in the battle but...' Ddraig ended up trailing off but I knew exactly what he was thinking.

'You're worried about Issa, considering she hasn't been able to awaken you yet?' I thought to him, finishing his thoughts.

'Indeed, I also don't sense a very high aptitude to mana from her body when you're near her so this also raises my concerns.' Ddraig continued to vent his concerns to me, the notion of Issa possibly not being talented with magic gave me an idea though.

'Hmm, I'm not the best with using magic outside of my natural incubus abilities, so maybe I could help teach Issa how to fight, maybe even some basic reinforcement magic. It would help strengthen her, speeding up your awakening process while also taking advantage of her low magic aptitude by making her a close combat fighter with low mana usage.' I thought, offering the idea towards Ddraig for consideration.

'Yes, that is a great idea (Y/n). Raising her battle sense before awakening me would also give her a great advantage down the line once she can wield me properly. Allowing her to utilise the advanced close combat techniques taught by you and the magic techniques she's bound to learn down the line, helping her become quite the fearsome foe.' Agreed Ddraig as I made a mental note to start her training ASAP, possibly even tonight if possible.

Narrator POV

*BRINGGGG*

Suddenly the bell signaling the end of the lesson rang, breaking the thought connection between Ddraig and (Y/n), shifting his attention back to his cute teacher Rui.

"Well that ends the lesson there, after lunch we'll continue to go more in-depth on the nervous system. Use this break to prepare and recharge your batteries. Dismissed." Said Rui calmly, she seemed to have gained slightly more confidence in her teaching, but when she would occasionally make eye contact with (Y/n) a slight pink would rise on her cheeks.

"Oh, and (Y/n) could you please stay behind for a moment?" She asked as the rest of the students took that as they should leave the classroom and those who planned to eat there decided to eat somewhere else.

"Okay..." (Y/n) said, slightly confused, he stood up and walked towards her desk, the classroom now empty except for him and Rui.

"I've notice recently more and more you've been staring off into space during lessons. I understand that you know a lot of the content in the lessons, in fact you're grades show that you're currently number one in my class and top three in the school, but that doesn't allow you to just doze off in my lessons. Is there anything causing this? Lack of sleep? Problems at home? I'd genuinely like to help where I can." She said, pretty sternly but her gaze and tone softening when she was worrying about (Y/n)'s well-being. It made him slightly guilty as she thought there were actual problems affecting him.
