"So class, today we will be talking about the mystery of 'The Lost Haunted House' ", Mrs. McCoy said.
I've always loved and been interested in this mystery. It has inspired lots of teenagers my age to go into the woods and try to find the house.
A couple of years ago a guy named Nick and his girlfriend Lexi went into the woods but never came out.
I was so into my thoughts until Mrs. McCoy snapped me back to reality.
"Earth to Lily!" Mrs. McCoy said.
"Huh... Yes Mrs. McCoy?" I said.
"Are you interested in the story of 'The Lost Haunted House'?" Mrs. McCoy asked me.
"Yes of course I've always been interested in that story Mrs. McCoy, besides you promised us you were gonna tell the true story that happened so I'm really excited." I answered with a smile on my face.
"Okay now let's get this story going. First of all the house just disappeared like that. I know scary right?" Mrs. McCoy said nodding.
"But most of the people don't know the real story. Others say they broke the house which is just a rumor. And others say it was never built and all of this is made up." Mrs. McCoy said.
"But what people didn't know is that where this family lived was a village and a woman who lives across from where I live use to be one of the many people who lived in that village." Mrs. McCoy said while spying on a couple of the bad teen- no kids in class.
"Jake are you listening!?!" Mrs. McCoy suddenly yelled making some of us jump in our seat.
"Yes I am Mrs. McCoy" Jake said while stopping immediatly with whatever he was doing and turned around to face the wrath of Mrs. McCoy.
Meet Jake bad boy of the class but also one of my friends. All of my friends were in this class with me. My friends are Jake as I said, Leah, Nathan and Justin. We've known each other since kindergarten.
"So Jake if you were really listening, what did I just say?" Mrs. McCoy asked curiously.
"Uhm,....about a woman who lives across from you?" Jake said which sounded more like a question.
"Nice work Jake. Detention after school. And if any of you wants to join Jake's bad behavior, then it's detention for you too." Mrs. McCoy said.
"So back to the story. Two days ago I went to visit the woman. She is an elderly woman in her late sixties, early seventies. We were talking about ghosts and paranormal activities. And she suddenly started talking about the mystery about 'The Lost Haunted House'. So I asked her if she knew anything about the mystery and she said yes." Mrs. McCoy said until Jason cut her off.
"But Mrs. McCoy I thought you were gonna tell us the real story but this is mostly what happened between you and the elderly woman." Jason said and most of the kids in class started laughing and to our surprise even Mrs. McCoy started laughing.
"Okay I'm sorry but I'm getting to the real story now. I promise."
"The reason the hou-" and of course the bell signalled us it was lunch.
Oh really! Just as the ACTUAL story began the bell had to dismiss us from class.
"So class that's all for today I'll see you all tomorrow" Mrs. McCoy said with a smile.
"What about the story?" Leah asked.
"We'll continue tomorrow" Mrs. McCoy answered.
As I walked out of class I immediatly started searching for my friends. As soon as I spotted them I walked over to them and we walked together to lunch.
