Next day I woke up early and feel Rowan and Dorian how preparing themself for training so I raised from bed and also dressed myself quickly,putting weapons on their places. When I get out of my room,I saw Dorian and Rowan waiting for me.
I asked Dorian "Are you ready,king?"
"As I can be." I held his stare for one good moment glaring back at him and he sighed "I am not afraid."
"Oh you should be. There are two thing you should be afraid most in this world. Yourself and your power. Power whatever kind,can never be tamed and be caged completely,she has her own will,but if you learn how to not command her,but to be One with her then you already win. But training first come out of all that my dear."
"I understand.",Dorian answered and I replied "I am glad.",and then I turned to Rowan asking him "What about wolf and lion,Rowan? Will we keeping then away from Dorian's training? " He looked at me,thinking a little and answering "No. It is upon them to decide will they come.Our powers will call their for sure but still."
"I see. Well let's don't lose any more time. We have things a lot to learn,don't you think? ",I said then and I turned,going outside and Rowan and Dorian followed me so I said to them "Last night I went to look around this place and I found one quite good for training. "
Lead and we will follow.",Rowan said and I kept going to the place I mentioned. After few minutes we have seen like entrance in the forest but when we pass after trough her after minuta or two we saw one large field surrounded by trees,perfect for training.
"Oh this seems good. This will do. How did you find this place?",Rowan asked me and I said "Well as I said,before I went finally to be bed,at the end I decided to look a little around meeting with new environment and finding a place for training and this was seems to me like a best option."
"It's really good.",Rowan answered but then stilled for few moments like he thinking about his words carefully,"I saw Gavriel going outside few minutes after you. Did he asked you anything?"
"Only about me,Prince,and then I give him a riddle to think about until time comes for my story but about Aelin or anything else,no. Just about Aedion. He is afraid and shocked,you know. He asked me if Aedion would want to meet with him but I told him that meeting two of them is upon them but only Aedion can decide what he will do with fact that he have a father now."
"Good words.",Rowan replied , "I am not just sure how Aedion will handle this."
"Well we will see,won't we?",and Rowan said ,"Indeed. Let's start but first something to tell you Dorian. I will teach you things I know,but your magic is very unlike Aelin,or mine so Nemesis will also teach something she knows. But to be clear. Before we start to use magic,we must learn how to control her. Let's be clear,It won't be typical training. "
"Okay. Let's start." And then they went on the middle of field,while I was preparing it,putting shields as best I could on trees,protecting them from what will come out of Dorian's training,making few changes and creating stone for me to sit and training some things for myself until my with Dorian came.
I said then "Everything is ready,I assured trees that we meant no harm for them. You know,they are very worried but they trust me. I will protect them. But when it comes to using real,raw and much powerful magic we will must find a new place to training because even I won't be able to protect nature if I am gonna use magic myself. Start.",and then I went to that stone,sitting on him and closing my eyes. But even with my eyes closed I still knew what happend around me and so does Rowan started to give Dorian instructions. Oh well he thinked that he would go without using physical strength and that is what he said,sort of "I thought you would show me ways of controlling my magic." I answered still with closed eyes "Everything in its time,young king. When body is ready and magic will be too. To be one with magic is not only spill it from you like water from a bottle,it's way more than that and not just your body,your mind must be ready too. So listen,learn and do any instruction that Rowan gives you. He know things."
"Okay.",Dorian replied and started his rute of training that Rowan gave him,running,climbing,making shields.
And then I pushed myself deep in my power,meeting her,consuming her,tasting her, giving her time to recognise me as hers,still awaring of real world but again deeper and deeper into my power searching for the ways to activate her,to wake her up.
As was I searching for ways for my real magic to woke up and so did Dorian started a basic things with his magic after few hours. Even if I couldn't yet use my power,that magic was still part of me and I alongside with her could feel it how Dorian's raw magic waking up from sleep not long as mine.
But my was a different thing,monster who was sleeping for so long. Anyway,I heard from afar how Rowan is giving Dorian advices and helping him to control and shape his.
So I back to my task,calling for my monster to wake up,calling for my power to rise,speaking in foreign toung to this world,but for me far too familiar and then I felt how earth has been shook with blast of power,ancient and powerful,but that was not magic of Dorian and Rowan,nore of Aelin of Wildfire,not even of dark king from Morath or dark queen in Dorranele,it was my own. My magic,beautiful and powerful,rising from me to the skies,searching ways from inside of me to outside,causing every damn resistance on its way. I heard from afar calls of Dorian and Rowan for me to,calm down? But I couldn't,my magic won't allow me,after all these years,she is finally here. Still invincible but Rowan and Dorian could definitely feel it and so my powers rised and rised and I missed her so long so I didn't resist to her wishes to come out of me,but at the same time I feel it how Dorian and Rowan was preparing their own magic to protect,to shield them and everything they could and what I would destroy.
So I felt two more presence,wild and powerful,two males precisely.
Gavriel and Fenrys.
At the sight of them my magic burst out,but now I was one who was taking back control,making my magic,my own monsters,to obey to my will with words "In the name of me and ancestors,stop by this moment. Wait,listen,obey." And so my power back in my,taking her old familiar place,but not sleeping because now I woke up a monster.
Opening my eyes again,looking around me,I found four males completely in shock,Rowan and Dorian less than other two but still,in shock and then I heard Gavriel asking me "What the hell was that?!"
"My monsters,my powers,waking up,meeting me,recognising me. "
And so he respond "Fenrys and I felt all its way back to our rooms."
"I knew you would once at least." I replied,now looking at Rowan "But I am afraid this is nothing,my magic,my real magic,to be correct,has been so long out of reach,I don't know if I am ready to use it again. "
"But you did back in that room.",Fenrys said , "You used your powers." I let low quiet laugh saying "That was nothing comparing with I can do,with what I could do back in time. But don't be so shocked. For many powers will be felt across the land and we all know which one who roar the loudest."
And with that words everyone seems to a little bit relax but still thinking,calculating,searching. So I asked Rowan "Before you continue training if you think it's not enough for today,can I speak with you.?"
"Of course.",Rowan answered searching in my eyes for the answer but I didn't let any thought to come to my eyes and so I looked for a moment in Dorian saying in his mind "I will tell you later.",and he nodded.
We walked a little away from them and then Rowan waited for me to do a spell which with one others could not listening us. I didn't have to use my real for that one,it was quite simple actually. Once I finished,Rowan asked me "What is it?" and I said to him "Back there when my magic woke up,I felt her,feeling old familiar taste of my magic dancing,roaring,waking up,and I retrieve it control at the end but in the last moment as it seems.",and Rowan asked me "Then what worries you?",and I replied "I felt you two preparing your shields to protect yourself from my coming magic and I wouldn't hurt you I would never but my magic would maybe did something quite different,not recognising you as my friends. But when Fenrys and Gavriel came,my magic was already making a way outside of me,but in the presence of them I stopped,my magic stopped for a moment and that I used to make her obey to me. And she listened,murmuring about immposible things that never happend,warning me "It was only because of one" and then I back.
Rowan went silent for good moments,thinking about my words and then asking me "Did your magic warned you about Fenrys or Gavriel?"
"I don't know what to thing but I think I know what I felt,what I still feeling. There is something unfamiliar,something I haven't seen in a long time,a long time."
"What is it?",Rowan asked me and I answered "I will need to think about this. Once I will figure it out. Now back to your training. I won't use it my magic for today,because today it was test and almost to break chains of my control. But still I can be there. Now I will drop my spell.",and Rowan nodded "Okay. Listen you are gonna be okay." I replied "I hope so,for I feel this world and my yet needs my,in the ways I still have to discover."
We back to Dorian who has talked with Fenrys and Gavriel about magic and I said to him "Are you ready for some more of trainings?"
"Well I must be.",Dorian said, "For many things will happend and I will not be weak again,never again. "
"I understand you,but as Rowan have might already told you,sometimes you must not push yourself to hard. Your magic will eat you alive,and your unprepared mind and body won't be able to defend themselves. Are you quite sure you can use it a little more?"
"I am.",Dorian said and I replied "Good. Because now I will start to train you."
For the next few hours I was teaching Dorian basics of magic,magic as I know her,for mine was more similar with Dorian's than anyone else's while three males behind us watched us speaking sometimes.
After some time,we sat on the ground while Dorian was trying to focus on feeling life around him and for that time I spoke to him "Put your hands on the ground. Breath once,twice,three times. Feel,breath,search,breath,find what you need,breathe. You must be ready for beign one with your power,for your magic is a very alive and she will listen you only if you are strong enough to be ready to use her in her might. Focus. Find. See. Feel. You must feel music of your magic deep in you and to believe in yourself that you will succeed in what you plan to do with her or you will never be able to use her,to control her. "
And he did for some time as I said to him,starting already to recognise different stage of her power,her might,her abilities but not yet her limits. Then I said "Now stop. Relax. You must not push yourself to hard,you must to know when it's right time to stop,where is line between using your magic in her might and losing control over her and might hurt someone around you for who you care about.",and with that words I spoke into his mind "You must not be afraid when time come to use magic in her full might,you must be ready.",and he said back "I wasn't when she died. I just screamed,doing absolutely nothing to save her. "
With that words,I move closer to him,putting my hand on his shoulder saying to him quietly,full aware that three males behind us listen us, "Listen I understand. I have been in similar situation. I know maybe to well how that feeling sucks. Like your whole world crumbling down because you didn't succeed to save her. But then I said to myself "I will not be afraid. I will learn,I will listen,I will train for that to never happend again. In my account happend,but because of some different reasons,in yours it doesn't have to be that way. "
"What would you do for them?",Dorian asked and I was aware on who he thinks and so I answered "If I could die of fire,I would burn in hell if that means they would be safe. But I didn't succeed. My time will come to and when it does I will be ready,I will be ready to remind them of the great sacrifice my friends,my family give to Aurelia just to save me. The world will know their their names. But your time,my king,is close,much closer than mine and you must be ready for it. "
"I understand. Thank you.",Dorian said and I replied "Your welcome. And in any time. Now I know you are exhausted so go to eat something and go to relax your mind and body after training,sinking in your power,you will fall in your sleep. Now go."
"Okay. Will you as well come?"
"You know what,I will. I will maybe try something again tonight,but I am not sure. Today I will start to teach you and Rowan will finish it. Will you prince?" And Rowan stood up saying "I will. Now let's go. I am tired. "
"So are we.",I replied saying ,"We did a great job for start today,but you only begun to see,to feel your magic in true way. "
"I know",Dorian said "We will come back tomorrow."
"We sure will.",Rowan said and then we leave two males behind us
