In which Hyunjin and Felix, online personalities, both bought the same apartement by mistake and end up cohabiting against their wills.

"is it already the day we go get your dog ?" the younger was preparing some food to offer hyunjin's mother, to make a good first impression.
hyunjin nodded while a bright smile appeared on his face solely by the thought of seing his precious kkami.
felix noticed the smile on the older's face, and got curious about his dog.
"what race is kkami hyunjin ?"
"oh- I didn't show you any picture yet, give me a second" the older noticed before grabbing his phone from the table next to him, and scrolling to find a nice picture.

felix gasped and a squeal left his mouth right after, he had a soft spot for dogs, especially the small ones.
"she's adorable~" he cooed while hyunjin looked at him from the side, a small blush making its way to his cheeks.
"she'll love it here ! I'll even cook for her if you want !!" the younger lifted both his fists up energetically to show his excitement while slightly bouncing on the spot.
the taller chuckled and ruffled felix's fluffy hair. at that moment, hyunjin thought the younger looked like an overly enthusiastic puppy, and he especially found that adorable.
"hey felix~ all you've been doing is praising kkami, how do I look in the picture ?" hyunjin faced felix while speaking and had a serious expression on his face.
"are you perhaps- jealous of your..dog ?" the younger said as he held in his laugh, hyunjin's straight face totally not working on the latter.
the older smirked, as he got closer to felix, who was still on the verge of laughing.
"and what if I am~?"
"well- um.." the younger was caught off guard, he knew he should be used to those type of sly remarks, but he apparently still wasn't yet.
they starred at each-other, having the dynamic of flustered and confident, felix being the flustered one, and hyunjin the confident.
that moment was brief, as the younger's cheeks got redder by the second and decided to push hyunjin away.
ah- should've known..thought the taller, laughing, his eyes forming long and pretty crescents as felix rapidly went back to organizing the gifts.

"are you sure it's a good idea if I come along..?"
"yongbok, my mom will love you trust me"
"you make it sound like we're a coupl-"
before they had time to end their small talk, the door they were standing in front of opened, revealing a tall woman.
"jinnie !" the woman embraced her son lovingly. she then broke the hug and turned around, giving felix a very warm and welcoming smile.
"and who might you be ?" she asked in a soft tone.
"nice to meet you mrs.hwang, i'm hyunjin's friend, felix." as he presented himself, he bowed to make him seem more polite.
hyunjin chuckled when he heard the word "friend", he leaned closer to felix's ear and whispered a few words.
"if anything lix, we're friends with some sorts of benefits" he didn't even manage to end his sentence when his arm was met with the younger's fist.
hyunjin playfully mouthed an "ow", which made mrs.hwang laugh softly.
"oh right ! i almost forgot why you both are here, kkami is in the backyard, i'll cook something while you go get her"
"a-actually mrs.hwang, I already made something if you don't mind.." the australian said, while fidgeting with the end of his jacket.
"really ? aw~ you're such a sweet boy felix, take notes hyunjin" her mother admired the younger, no wonder they would make a good match, he's hyun's ideal type, she then smiled softly, her son might have finally found someone for him.
it might be a bit early for her to think this, but that's hyunjin's mother's instinct, and usually, when that type of feeling occurs, she's right.

the day passed by rather quickly, they went on a walk around hyunjin's childhood neighborhood, enjoyed mrs.hwang's cooking abilities for dinner, and watched a movie after that before finally heading home.
"goodbye mrs.hwang, it was an honor for me to be here today, thank you for the good food !" felix bowed right after, and so did hyunjin who just finished hugging his mother goodbye.

"so~ how was it ?" hyunjin asked as he glanced to the side only to observe the younger patting kkami as she peacefully was in dreamland on felix's lap.
"oh- amazing ! your mom is so nice..she reminds me of mine sometimes" felix turned his gaze away as those words slipped through his lips, he painfully put on a smile to dismiss his sadness.
hyunjin felt nervous, should I ask about it..? should i not..? it's not the first time he had those kind of questions in mind.
in fact, felix had a habit of inserting few informations here and there about his mother during certain conversations. naturally, it made the taller grow more and more curious about what could've happened regarding his family.
"..felix..you know, if you want to talk about it, I won't pressure nor force you, but, just know i'm here to listen to you anytime, yeah ?"
he decided on taking a soft approach to the matter, as he knew how sensitive and emotional the younger could get when his parents were the topic mentioned.
"..can i t-tell you when we arrive home..?"
"of course" hyunjin reassuringly put his hand on felix's thigh, to try and comfort him in the meantime, before getting to their appartement.
in response, the younger smiled fondly at hyunjin and then shifted his gaze towards kkami.
