Chapter 8

Year had went by since the baby passed away. You hadn't forgot but it was becoming a less sad topic. You and Nick decided you guys...weren't going to try anymore until you knew if you could have anymore kids.

"Babe I'm going to get checked out," you said in a calm tone.
"Okay, do you want me to come?"
"No it's okay I will be fine, maybe it's my age and my body is still recovering. I still haven't got my period because I've been breast feeding but other than that. I'm okay."

You drove to the clinic to see if you could actually have anymore kids.

"Put your name, age and birth here and then walk up that corridor."

You signed the sheet and went up the corridor. It seemed a little sketchy because you were alone, you wasn't going to think about it more as you knew you would walk out.

"If you may step in." The doctor said with his face in a clipboard.
You followed him in and took the tests before you closed your eyes and wished you could have another baby.
You whispered to yourself, "just one is enough, please please." It sounded like you were praying but the doctor was used to that as it was what most people would say before negativity struck.

"I am sorry but there is no way you could have another kid."
You ran out and sobbed until you reached the apartments.

"Oh." Nick wrapped his arms around you as you cried more and more...
