My teenage dream

The new girl

It was my first day at high school. I just moved to New Jersey because of my mom. I had moved here from Florida and left my freshman year behind. First of all, I had no friends, I felt alone for years in middle school, and the first year of high school . I would have people ask me in the halls, "What's your name?" Then I would respond,"My name is Diana...Diana Winters." They would soon walk away and laugh. I really didn't understand what was so funny. Was it because of my appearance or my name? But I was more of a shy person, not so outgoing and usually went home or went to school. I would just like to stay home and watch romance movies and cry because I will never find a guy like them. My mom would tell me "There is always a guy for every girl." ,or something like... "You haven't met every guy in the world." But, I thought that would never happen.
I walked into the school. It was mostly crowded. I soon walked into my home room :geometry. I sat in a seat between two girls. They were friends, I could tell. So they asked me,"What's your name?" I then said "Diana Winters." I was ready for them to laugh. But, they smiled and said, "I really like that name. Anyway my name is Katie." said the girl on the right. "And my name is Valerie.", said the girl on the left. " I know this is to soon but would you guys like to be my friends?" I asked. "Sure we'd loved too!", they said cheerfully. I then put my schudelue on my desk , so I can get my notebook out of my book-bag. Katie then saw it and said,"OMG!!!!! All three of us are in the same classes,but different shops!!!!!"exclaimed Katie.😄 I could see that Valerie was smiling and was kind of happy. Today was going to be great!!😉 Soon, the teacher came in and introduced herself and said her name was Ms.Johnson. We were learning about dilations, which are so easy. I learned this last year and plus I loved math❤️. It's like the easiest subject ever. So I was copying notes and just basically reviewing dilations. The bell rang and we had our shops next so , I went to the D wing in the school which is were the Medical Arts Center is.
It was really fun at shop. We were in wheel chairs. I had so much fun and learned many things. Like when you go down a ramp , the patient has to face backwards. I would say that Medical Arts was great and I met new people but the were more of acquaintances. Soon the bell rang and I went to my third period class which was biology. I met up with Valerie since her shop was pretty close to mine. So, we started talking about what we did in our shops. Since biology was in the F wing, I thought it was pretty close to the D wing. Soon Valerie and I met up with Katie at our class and sat by each other. I haven't had friends in a while and I feel like they had my back. Then, the teacher came in : Mr.Perez. The bell rang again saying that the period started. Five minutes later, while Mr.Perez was teaching a cute boy walked in. He said sorry to Mr. Perez and since their was one more seat next to me, he sat next to me! I was thinking in my head "THANK YOU JESUS!!!" and "YASSSSS!!!!!" "Hey my name is Cameron. What's your name and what are we doing in biology?" he questioned. "My name? My name is Diana Winters." , I said in a shy tone. "Cute name. I really like it.", Cameron responded. I just met the guy and I fallen for him.Oh Gosh! "Oh, sorry we're just learning about the meaning of biology.", I said shyly. " Thanks! Anyway we should hang out." Cameron said smiling. I tried not to blush!😊
