Darius sat down on a chair bandages going around his chest and he asked "How did Sera survive that? I swear I saw her drown" Ben was lost in thought and he said "Didn't Dominate say Sera was part mosasaurus?" Darius replied with "Yeah but she never shifted, unless she did after i kicked her in the face." Ben nodded and he sighed "Looks like the beast wars has started." and darius looked at him confused and Ben said "What? we can shapeshift into dinosaurs and they can to." Darius just chuckled and looked at the sky.
Limbo, Chaos, Gray, and Zach did their daily patrol just to make sure the area around the tree house was secure when they finished they returned to the large tree fort. "We should go to the river." Chaos said while on the dinosaur lift and the campers look at him and Darius says "We could use more water." The others nodded in agreement and they set off to the river after tying the water jugs to Bumpy's back.
when they approached the river Limbo felt off like something was in the water and when Brooklynn (just realized misspelled her name for the whole book 1) walked onto the dock a suchomimus slammed into the docks support hard enough to make it snap and Brooklynn held onto the dock for dear life as the Spinosaurid leaped out at her and it missed her leg by an inch and it dove back into the water. Brooklynn grabbed a wooden board and when teh carnivore jumped out of the water like a crocodile she smacked it on the snout with the board which broke in half and the carnivore dove back underwater and swam off in defeat. "InGen never had those." Darius said after helping Brooklynn off the dock without it breaking under both of their weight combined.
Darius sighed in relief when they got back to the tree house. He practically fell onto his face when they got back from the river. It was late in the night, possibly 10 pm and Darius looked over at Brooklynn sleepily and she looked back at him until he left to go sleep. Ben decided to rest as well since it took 3 hours to get to the river and 3 and a half hours to get back since they had to carry 3 water jugs with them.
