Attack on Titan- Wings of Freedom

Chapter 1

I was on my way to headquarters with my squad. It's been two months now since I got ranked to a captain of a squad. They are actually older than me, but I'm fine with it as long as there is only one asshole in the squad. Not all of them are like that, just that Dylan guy. We had a beautiful weather on the way, so we were almost there. It makes me nervous to know that I will see my older brother again. The last time I saw him, I was 11 and he was 21. He got caught by the Scouts and My brother told me to run away. As I was running away from one of the Scout members, his name was Mike, I got taken away by Kenny. I was 14 when I came to Trost, and I got trained. On an expedition with Commander Erwin, I got the chance to prove my skills. A month later he made me to a captain of my own squad. Their names are Dylan, Felix, Andrew, and Sophie. Dylan is the difficult one, who always looks for danger, loves to flirt with me, which makes me annoyed when he does. Felix and Sophie are the quietest ones, Sophie gets a little scared, even though she is around two years older than me. Andrew is the loyal one that seems to always have my back. You could say he is my second command in a way.

A few hours went by, and we finally arrived at headquarters. We got off of our horses, I gave mine to Andrew so he could also take them to the stables. I put the hood over my head to give my brother a little surprise if I should see him today. When I went up to the big entrance door of the building, I heard the voice of the commander greeting me, "Hello Mayumi. Hope you had a peaceful journey and didn't have to get involved with titans on your way here." I walked closer, "Everything went fine Erwin, no trouble at all." He just smiled at me, didn't asked why I was wearing the hood. We walked upstairs and he knocked on a door.

From the other side of the door, I heard a very annoyed voice, "Come in.." Erwin opened the door and we walked in with me closing the door behind us. The man who is sitting in front of us was no one other then my older brother, Levi Ackerman. From the looks of it, he doesn't recognize me with my hood on. He put his paperwork to the side and looked at Erwin annoyed, "What is it, Erwin? Who in the hell is that?" I smiled a little as Erwin introduced me, "This is Captain Mayumi Ackerman. The youngest captain we ever had." Levi stood up and walked over to me. He pulled my hood off to get a good look at my face. When he did, hugged me tightly. I closed my eyes and hugged him back, "I have missed you so much, my dear brother. You can't tell how often I was thinking about you all these years." He holds me tighter, "You are back now and that is all what matters to me." Erwin smiled softly at us, "I'll leave you two alone. You have a lot to talk about. In the meantime, I'll tell the others to train a little while I head back to capital. I'll tell you if we have another expedition." We nod at him as we kept hugging each other tightly. Erwin left the room, closing the door behind him.

After a few minutes, Levi let go of me, looking right into my eyes, "So tell me... What the hell happened after I told you to run away from Mike?" I took a deep breath, "We should maybe sit down, this could take a while. I'll try to keep it short to tell you the important stuff." He nods. I sat down in one of the chairs in front of his desk and he sat in his chair. "Well, it all started when I ran off and I got caught by Kenny. He dragged me to his hideout and kept me there for many years." Levi put a very concern look on its face, "I should've just kick Erwin away brought you to safety... I'm sorry, Mayumi." I stood up, walked over to him, and hugged him from behind, "It's not your fault. You didn't know that this would happen." He just nods, so I continued with telling what happened. "He trained me and took me often with him. He made me kill people or steal stuff. One day he brought a new girl, she was one year younger than me. Her name was Mary, we became friends and trained together. One stormy day, I got called into a room that belonged to the second in command when Kenny was off. His name was Zecharia. He touched me where I didn't want to be touched. He was so close to take advantage of me when lightning hit the wooden house where Kenny had us. So, he pushed me into a corner and ran off to help the others put out the fire that the lightning made. I got up, grabbed the 3D gear that I had stolen from the MP's. I put one on and helped Mary to put on the other one. We sneaked out from the back door, took the horses which were standing nearby. We rode off as fast as we could to the capital to get to safety."

He stood up from his chair, hugged me tightly as he could hear that my voice got shakier. "It's okay... I am here. What happened after that?" I took a deep breath, "Well, we were a bit away from the walls, so Zecharia informed Kenny that we ran off. So, Mary and I rode fast as we could. Then suddenly, a titan surprised us through the heavy rain. Mary tried to.... tried to defend herself and gave her best to avoid it. This damn titan was faster and caught her... ate her right in front of me, throwing her upper body in front of my horse. I freaked out, drew the swords, and attacked the titan, cutting it into pieces. Afterwards, I walked back to what was left of Mary, kneeled down, and closed her eyes before I continued riding to the Trost district. When I was there, I gave the horse to a poor family and hid myself in the darkest alley I could found. But even there, Kenny found me at the same time Erwin did. Erwin putt me under his wing and let Kenny get throw out of Trost. I got trained to be a Scout and that's where I ended up becoming a captain of a squad." I started to cry a little, hiding my face in his shoulder.

He let go of me, "That's it, I won't leave you alone. Especially at night. I will protect you no matter what... That's a promise, Mayumi..." He picked me up, walked to his private room and sat me down on his bed. "I tell Ouruo to get your stuff in my room. For tonight, I'll give you one of my shirts that you sleep in." He got a shirt from his wardrobe and gave it to me, "Please stop crying, little sister. We are back together, and I will protect you. I won't let this happen again, never. Now, get changed." I just nodded, slowly calming down. I whispered, "Could you please turn around? It is kind of embarrassing to me..." He smiled softly and turned away from me and I got changed into his shirt. "Okay you can turn back around, big brother..." I made a very cute face, blushing a little. He turned back to face me, still smiling softly, helped me to lay down. He put my clothes on a chair, then sat down on another one. "Try to sleep Mayumi. You had a long trip, so you need your rest." I looked confused at him, "Aren't you going to sleep too? You normally slept in the same bed as me..." I breathed softly. "If it is that what my cute little sister wants, then I will."

He got up from his chair and got undressed to his boxers, laying down next to me in the bed. I made a cute noise and cuddled tightly on to him as I laid my head on the left side of his chest to listen to his heartbeat. He started to run his fingers through my hair to comfort me, to keep me calm and help me fall asleep. I held on to him tightly. I don't want to be separated from him again. Never in a million years. A few yawns that left my lips as I fell asleep. I felt a soft kiss on my forehead. "Sleep well, my little Mayumi. Tomorrow, we have a busy day of training." I kept sleeping through the night till morning.

I hope you do like the first chapter already because the whole story here and the stuff that will still come in the other chapters was a very hard work.

I even rp this whole story with a talented Levi roleplayer. So I put alot of free time in it and thought about my OC and it's story months till I was happy with it, also a big thank you to my soulmate which takes again care of my grammar and my writing errors.
