Remnant's commander (Azur lane x Reader x RWBY)

Chapter 2, Volume 1 : The Forest

(A/N:worked on this from like 12-1 am while I am tired so don't expect it to be the greatest thing in the world)

(3rd person pov present day)

A man in a checkered suit and white pants knocks on a door that says Admiral's Quarters

"Come in." Yells (Y/N)

After (Y/N) says that the man enters and then shut the door while (Y/N) sits at her desk

"Hello (Y/N)... It's been a while hasn't it?" The man asks

"Yes it has. How have you been Benny?" (Y/N) asked

"I've been doing good. You know why I am here right?" Benny replied

"Yes I do. The job is done?" (Y/N) asked

"Yes it is (Y/N)... The explosives are in place around the walls of New Vale." Benny answered (I couldn't think of a better name ok?)

"Great Benny, now CRDL and Cinder and her goons will pay!" (Y/N) said excited

"Remember (Y/N) if you want to get revenge you need to choose a side either Ozpin's remnants or Salem's side." Benny replied

"I don't want to join either of them." (Y/N) says in annoyance

Just then after (Y/N) says that Ironwood calls (Y/N) and then Benny leaves to do some other work

(10 years ago (Y/N) P.O.V)

Kaga and I are walking towards our lockers and grab our stuff and then go out to the launch pads

"For years, you have trained to become warriors, and today, your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest." Ozpin said

"Now, I'm sure many of you have heard rumors about the assignment of "teams." Well, allow us to put an end to your confusion. Each of you will be given teammates... today." Glynda added on

"These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon. So it is in your best interest to be paired with someone with whom you can work well." Ozpin continued

I look around at the forest below trying to find a good landing area

"That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next four years." Ozpin said trying to finish

I hear ruby sigh then I turn and give her a smile and thumbs up

"After you've partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest. You will meet opposition along the way. Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path... or you will die." Ozpin says almost done

"これが終わりの始まりです。" I say (I put "This is the beginning of the end." into Google translate I can't actually speak Japanese but I want to)

"元気を出して、それは新しい冒険の始まりです！" Kaga replied (I put "Cheer up, it's the beginning of a new adventure!" into Google translate)

"You will be monitored and graded through the duration of your initiation, but our instructors will not intervene. You will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics. Each pair must choose one and return to the top of the cliff. We will regard that item, as well as your standing, and grade you appropriately. Are there any questions?" Ozpin finished

"Uh... I have a question sir." Juane says while rasing his hand

"Good! Now get into your positions." Ozpin said completely ignoring the question

Everyone one gets into position. I get kneel and get out my revolver.

"So do we get parachutes like (Y/N) and Kaga?" Juane asked

I then see people start getting launched.

"No, they brought those parachutes them selves they weren't given by the school. So you have to find your own landing strategy." Ozpin answered

I then get launched into the air and try and head into a partially clear part of the forest. Then when I am close enough I open my parachute and then get stuck in a tree.

"This really could be worse." I say while cutting the parachute line with my knife

I then fall and then get out a compass and put away my revolver after changing it back.

(Time skip a few minutes brought to you by future (Y/N) having a shooting contest with past (Y/N) )

"Hey (Y/N)!" I hear Kaga yell at me

I turn around to see Kaga all covered in dirt

"Hello Kaga... Let me guess a bomb exploded?" I said to Kaga

"Maybe or maybe not (Y/N)." Kaga replied while dusting her self off

"How else would you be covered in dirt then Kaga?" I asked before sighing

"Sorry (Y/N)... I know what you said about using my planes." Kaga apologized

"It's fine Kaga... Just don't do that again please." I say while hugging her

I then get a phone call from General Ironwood after I hug Kaga

"Hello general." I say happily

"(Y/N) I wanted to tell you that your package has arrived... Thanks little (Y/N)." Ironwood replied

"That's great d- I mean general but I am in the middle of initation" I say

"Ok, I was just letting you know I got it. Talk to you later (Y/N)." Ironwood says before hanging up

I put my scroll away and sigh

"What's wrong (Y/N)?" Kaga asked

"I feel sorry for the general after what happened years ago." I answer

"It's not your fault (Y/N)... No one could have guessed that that mission would turn out so bad." Kaga says while hugging me

"Thanks... We better get a move on." I say

We start going north until we are ambushed by beowolfs.

"Of course this happens... Nothing is ever that easy." I say while getting my beowulf out

Kaga and I start engaging the beowolfs.

(Present Ironwood's P.O.V)

I hang up with (Y/N) and then cry a bit.

"Everything ok general?" Winter asked

"I am just worried about (Y/N)... She needs to show her feeling sometimes." I say while getting up

"General it's been a rough 9 years for her... Give her time she will stop acting like this." Winter says

"There must be something I can do to help though." I say while walking towards the door

"You need to rest... Your in no condition to do anything right now." Winter says

"I am not going to to fight right now... I am going to the doctor I will be back Winter." I say leaving the room

(A/N: if some of this doesn't make sense it is because of me making this when I am really tired but can't sleep also I am giving you some choses of people to add the one with the most votes in each group wins)
