Nico

My hands were shaking. The cold wind was pushing against the shield of my dark jumper. My breaths were deep, I was terrified to look down at the raging waters below. I clung onto the person in front of me praying to Zeus. Don't kill me. Praying to Poseidon. Don't kill me. I'm going to help your children.

"Loosen up a bit, Death Boy. It's not good to be so tense," my boyfriend told me as I clung onto for my life. Easy for him to say, he was flying over dangerous waters waiting for the storm. "If they wanted to hurt you, they would've."

I refused to say a word in response, though mainly because his blonde hair was in my face. I would have had my own horse if it allowed me to ride it. Now I'm eating half of Will's conditioner, and he uses a lot.

We stopped only for a moment at Camp Jupiter to tell Reyna that they were leaving to see what was going on up north. I think a part of her just wants this all to end so she can pass the role of praetor onto someone else. She was after all going to join Thalia in the hunt. I guess with so much going on she decided to keep her role for a bit longer.

I hope they're alright. That this is all just some misunderstanding. that everything worked out alright and they just forgot to tell us. I know that isn't true, but hope is something I have to cling onto at the moment...well other than Will.

"Arghh!" A voice shouted from across us. I turn my head to see Leo struggling with the pegasus he was riding. "Just fly straight!" he yelled at his horse, "why can't you be a machine. At least that way I could fix your flying problems!"

"Leo! Be nice!" Piper shouted at him.

A force suddenly pushed through my minds and I tried to restrain my scream, but I couldn't.

"Nico!" Will called out in worry.

Come now, something said to me, deep within my mid.

I recognised the voice of my father.

Percy

"Rachel?" I ask the red head now standing before me. I couldn't remember the last time we spoke. It was before the pain, in a time before I had forced myself to forget the darkness and had hoped to never think of it again. Yet hear a member of that past stood threatening to wake up the pain.

"I'll ask again, what are you doing here?" Her red hair was as bright as ever and her green eyes looked different. She seemed like she had changed, only in the slightest way.

"I'm..." I had no idea how to answer her question...I didn't want to lie, not to her. I was tired of lying yet what else could I do?

I tried to avoid her question, her gaze but she knew me. Even if it had been a while she still knew me and embraced me in her arms.

"I am..." she stops mid-sentence as she tried to find the right words, "Glad I can see you again." Rachel lets go of me and turns towards the others behind me. Oh shit I almost forgot about them.

"Who are they?" She wondered.

"Who are you?" Macy asked back with sass.

"Ok, everyone this is Rachel. Rachel this is Macy, Ryder, Charlie and Jace," I introduce each one of my school friends. Never thought I'd see the day were my school life and demigod life mixed. Yet here we were.

Rachel eyes stay glued onto Jake, unmoving. "He's a demigod."

"What? You believe that too?" Jake asked her. I turned towards Rachel, now concerned that she may sprout out a new prophecy, but no green glow wraps around her figure. No ancient voice speaks from her mouth. The oracle of Delphi stays silent.

"You told them?" She sounded shocked as she asked me a question.

"He had seen some things when they followed me here like a bunch of stalkers," I responded.

"Hey, we're your caring friends. Not stalkers," Macy defended their actions.

"So, where are you going? Last I heard you were...not, well-"

"I told everyone to fuck off," I finished Rachels words. Saving her from her own induced discomfort.

"I'm so confused right now," Ryder's spoke.

"Same man," Jake backed him up. I don't have time to deal with this.

"Can you please all go home. Rachel, can you please take them home I have places I need to be that they can't go."

Rachel Elizabeth Dare smiled at me, "I'm proud of you. It takes strength to keep going. I'll take them back; I need to sort some things out anyway."

"No," Jake put a stop to our plan, "We didn't come this far for you to turn us away. You are going to sit down and tell us who you really are and where the hell you're going."

"No," I snarled, a wave of anger washed through me and everyone jumped away from me as if I were the plague. "You are leaving."

"Percy..." Rachel said with extreme caution, "Your-Your eyes," she stuttered. I looked at her in confusion, the anger withdrawing.

"They were pitch black," she spoke absolutely terrified. She was afraid of me...
