Trumpets blared loudly as the crowd clapped in a fashionable manner. The burning rays of the overhead sun shone down on cobblestone walkway, burning any insect unfortunate enough to touch it. The clear sky above allowed a perfect view of the glorious cathedral standing tall above the ground. The cheering grew louder and louder, until two massive wooden doors swung open with a loud crash.

(Y/n) awoke with a jolt and began to breathe heavily. The image of the doors swinging open replayed over and over within her mind, the large crash making her wince. Her eyes slowly adjusted to the dark room adorned with blue lights. Looking down at her hands, she found her body - almost bare - covered in a translucent, thick, blue liquid. She was laying in what seemed to be shaped like a bathtub, however, intricate carvings covered every inch of it. The walls and ceiling had a faint neon blue glow and were decorated with the same carvings found on her resting place.

(Y/n) took a deep breath for the first time in what felt like years. The air was old and musty, tickling her throat on the way to her lungs. Slowly, she stepped out of her unnatural bedding and placed her feet on the cold, grey tiled floor. Her bones were stiff and felt them crack one by one. Thrashing her limbs to brush the liquid gunk off her, her eyes fell upon two stone chests sitting in the corner of the room.

"Huh..." she shrugged to herself quietly. (Y/n) made her way over to the small chests and gave one of them a small kick. It opened up and revealed a slightly dusty pair of jeans with small rips at the hems. The other chest contained a small, beige colored short sleeve shirt with a tiny hole under the right arm sleeve.

"What is this place?" she said aloud to herself. "Why... why am I here? I can't remember anything..."

(Y/n) slowly ran a hand up and down her body, addressing her slightly toned figure. "W-who am I?" Almost as a response to her question, an intricate door on the wall beside her began to rumble. The floor shook under (y/n)'s feet as the door began to open, the stone bars releasing from the lock. A bright light shone inside, illuminating a long, dusty hallway to the outside. Tilting her head in confusion, she quickly dressed herself in the worn-down garments and walked through the threshold. Suddenly, a voice rang through her ears.

"(Y/n)... go to the light. You will soon find what you are looking for."

Taken aback by this experience, (y/n) slowly sped up her pace, her bare feet splashing in small puddles within the hallway. She did as she was told and ran towards the light. Nearing the end of the hallway, she breathed fresh air and set her eyes on the outdoors. A small breeze weaved between her hair and fingers as she walked out of the mysterious building. She turned around to look at where she came from, only to find it was built within the side of a mountain. A door almost identical to her own rested a few feet away from her exit, locked with stone bars.

Shrugging it off, (y/n) turned back around to face the bright light in the sky - the sun. She walked towards the edge of the cliff and overlooked the continent and all its glory. A volcano rested in the background in the east, large icy mountains sitting in the west. In between the two lied a castle surrounded by glowing pink pillars and a mysterious black aura. Taking in the scenery, (y/n) looked to her right and noticed a strange figure sitting alone inside of a carved rock, a small campfire lighting the area. The figure seemed to take notice of her and wave its hand, a gentle gesture that seemed inviting.

(Y/n) tilted her head and began to walk down the convenient dirt path to the person's hideaway. The closer she got, the clearer the sound of the crackling fire.

"Ho ho!" the figured called to her in an elderly and hearty laugh. The man was wearing a black cloak which covered the top half of his face, only showing his nose and large white beard. He was quite bulky, resembling that of a lumberjack. "You must be quite lost to stumble upon a place like this, eh?"
