Chapter five.

Webster forest-

((A few hours ago))

"show yourself! Or else I'll do the unthinkable!" the elf roared as the distance was enough to take a head out just one step with his sharp blades.

"what a bothersome burden," D commented as he catches Ian fallen form and carried him like a sack under his armpit. He stared at the person that has a weapon pointed at that them.

Thinking that he really needs to take some further measure so they can leave without harming this character in front of him and carrying this baggage is a troublesome thing to do' he thought before he takes a deep breath then he removes his hoodie.

Silver bub cut with bangs covering one of his eyes, he stared at the elf with an innocent smile that seems harmless. Pale crystal orbs that show nothing but apologist and gaze of nervousness.

"w-were were planning to take c-camping t-trip but w-we get lose..." he looked down at Ian fallen form and with tearful eyes, he looks at the elf with the saddest face that can win an Oscar award.

"w-were lose for a couple of d-days! I and my companion suffer so m-much...*hic." He hiccupped.

"d-did you k-know...?*hic*sob... p-poisonous snake almost k-ki...killed me?*sob" he cried as he remembers the event in which Ian almost died when a snake with big as a human tried to bite his head off and he looks at the show from above made him cried harder.

"w-were truly lost, Sir Elf!" he ended with a spotlight on his kneeling form that is hugging the unconscious form of Ian.

"..." the elf stared at him for a few minutes as silence cover the area. Then the grip of his weapon loosens as he looks at the 'pitiful' child with a tearing gaze as he becomes sympatric with their unfortunate days lost in the woods.

"o-oh how sad life you have been through, child!" he sobbed as if he was the one who suffers it than them.

"let me help you find your way back then!" he offered to D. "*sob*hic. T-thank you v-very much!" D cried happy tears with a smile that comes after the storm.

'really those shitty people are too easy to fool...' he thought when he got the result he wanted after the full-blown acting he did earlier, he was tired to even think that he was holding Ian and accidentally let go of him.

"I'm so weak that I can't even carry m-my f-friend!*sob*sob*sob" he added another set of the pitiful tearing moments. It's a good thing that this fellow is knock out cold enough not to feel that he bump his head in a rock—not like he'll know it was me. Hihi.

"don't worry! I'll carry your companion for you!"

"oh thank you very much!" for being stupid, I mean.' D thought as he follows along with the Elf to a safe camp near them to rest for the evening.

"my name is Yvonne and you are?"

"m-my name...? y-you can call me De-...D... also where are we going...as far as I can remember...we walk to this place for the nth time..." D says with a face trying to not act sarcastic as it sounds like.

"oh! I forget I'm bad as the direction."

"........."-D.
