Grandpa Fred was yanking weeds out of the garden when he realized that Eliathem had not come to help him like she usually does. To reassure his roller coaster stomach, Fred checked inside. He then realized with much confusion and distress that Eliathem was nowhere inside. So, he swiftly waddled outside and with many mixed feelings, noticed Eliathem arriving home on an old horse.
"Eliathem, what in the world do you think you are doing? How long have you been gone? Where did you go? What is going on? I was so worried!" Grandpa Fred stuttered.
"I was just going for a stroll Grandpa, you have nothing to worry about. I did not go far", Eliathem said so cheerily.
"Oh, well....okay, you just gave me a fright when you did not know where you are. Could you please let me know when you go out?" Grandpa Fred worriedly and reassuringly begged.
"Grandpa Fred, I will try to let you know more often, however, I would love it if you would start to not worry about me much anymore. I am getting older and I ready to face this dreadful life," Eliathem said calmly.
Then the two of them gazed emotionally with wonder into the black sea of the glooming sky.

Sneakily, Eliathem slithered up the wooden stairs to her bedroom. Her stomach was burning with excitement. Eliathem could not wait to examine the most glorious key that opens up all the joy in the world. Even though she found the first key, there were still many more to uncover and many more steps to figure out and solve.
This key was a little jostled and had was miniature-sized. The shaft of the key's edges was extremely jagged yet they were very proportional. The texture of the key was rough.
Eliathem continuously wiped and brushed her long fingers around the auburn key adoringly. Created for one person to unleash the truth, she thought. One day to be used to save everyone from being trapped. Trapped inside a forever cult of lies. Living ones.
______
After simultaneously rubbing and analyzing the treasured key, Eliathem noticed something very faint and very vague on the shaft of the key edges. They looked like small symbols. The first one was engraved deeply at the top of the key. It showed a curvy cylinder with a keyhole placement on the middle face of the cylinder symbol. The second symbol below the first one drew a crooked heart with a hollowed-out-shaped cylinder hole in the middle. Below the designed heart symbol was a 3D-like squiggly-edged triangle with a heart shape directly positioned in the middle of the triangle symbol. Then there was the final symbol at the bottom of all the other symbols, which showed an image of a bushy tree-like shape with a triangle hole in the middle of the tree which was on the engraved trunk of the tree symbol.
Eliathem struggled to try to understand what these symbols were saying. She did not understand the meaning or the message that these symbols were creating. Eliathem was a very visual learner, to decipher this pictured code, she needed to draw out what made most sense about these symbols. She was not the best at drawing, it was not her talent or a grinning delight for her to do as a distraction from the horror out in this fake and dark embellished world. Despite that, she clawed out a pencil she found just laying around and a scrappy piece of paper from her bronze desk on the left side of her room. She started to sketch softly and as skillfully as she possibly could accomplish. She drew out the symbols together. With the cylinder symbol placed inside the heart symbol, then the triangle symbol with the heart inside it, then she tried her best to draw a nice tree with the triangle symbol inside it, then she drew the key she had disclosed into the cylinder with the keyhole which matched perfectly. After finishing jerking the pencil across and against the before bare page she thought that the picture looked misshaped. That could also be because of her inability to simply draw.
With no thought or time to look or move, the drawing came to life. The drawing started to flow out very swiftly and became a cursory hologram that proved her theory of the symbols. It was ghostly and mystical. This vision gave Eliathem an ambiguous clue as to where the next symbol was of the cylinder with the keyhole in the middle of it.
Eliathem was now on track to finding the truth out of this world.
