Chapter 2 : Save Me

Y/N P.O.V

"Kookie?!" I tried to call him many times but he did not respond. I heard sound as if something got crashed before the phone hung up but I did not believe myself. Now I hope Jungkook is okay. Because if something will happen to him, I won't be able to live. He is the only one who keeps me going. My hands are numb and I can't even move right now. 

"No, Y/N you have to get up. You have to save your Kookie", I tried to get up and an adrenaline boost rushed into my body. I left the house the way it was and ran to the road from where Jungkook comes home. Although, I was unsure where to go but I kept on running. Tears dropped down from my face but I did not stop.

"I have to save you, no matter what. No matter where you are. I am coming J-Jungkook", I tripped over a stone and my clothes became dirty. I finally burst into tears and kept yelling his name. I am crying now and I don't know what to do. My knees are rubbed and injured but Jungkook is no where to be found. I again stood up and started running again until I found a car. I checked the number plate of the car and it was same as Jungkook's car number. I quickly went closer to that car but there was nothing except blood. I got panicked but suddenly..

*Bzz Bzz* I noticed someone was calling me so I took out the phone. I saw it was Eunjoo. Without wasting any second, I picked up the phone. 

"Hello? Y/N? Are you there? she asked me after I picked up the phone. I sniffled and wiped off the tears as I struggled to speak.

"H-hello" I replied.

"Thank god you are okay. And don't worry about Jungkook. He is in the emergency room right now. We heard the news about Jungkook's accident and we saw people carrying him to the hospital. Probably they were around him when he got into an accident. And yeah, we're in the Kyung Hee University Hospital now. Don't panic. He'll be okay soon.."

"You are in Kyung Hee Hospital? I am coming.." 

"Okay. Don't lose hope. All our friends are here too. They are so worried but everything will be alright soon." after she said those words. She hung up.

[At the hospital]

I am in the hospital. My legs are still bleeding but I kept going. I went to the receptionist area and asked them about Jungkook. They assisted me outside the door of the emergency room and I bowed to them when I reached there. All my friends were waiting outside the room on the chairs and I could see they all had worried face. I turned my face to the door and tried to get in but the security man stopped me.

"You can't go in", the security man said.

"But why? I want to see my Kookie", I said with my low voice as I do not have energy to speak loudly.

"Because doctors are still checking up on him. It might take a while. You may wait here!" 

I sighed and tried to fight my tears. I sat beside Taehyung and I did not even speak a word. I felt like I will pass out anytime. Taehyung wrapped his arm around me and he started patting me. I could not hold anymore and I started crying in his chest. 

"It's my fault. I-its all because of me. He met an accident just because he got distracted by my call. I-it's my fault..." I managed to speak. Taehyung smiled and tried to comfort me. 

"No, it's not your fault. You did not know that it will happen. Don't go hard on yourself Y/N" Taehyung tried to console me. He was trying hard to smile as he was in pain too deep down. He turned around his face and his tears rolled over his cheeks.

"Don't cry Taehyung", Jieun back hugged Taehyung. Eventually Minjun, Eunjoo and Jihoon group hugged too. Everyone was seeing us and it was a moment I felt quite releaved.
