Kaminari's POV:

I woke up, not knowing quite where I was. I opened my eyes to a blinding white light, and squeezed them shut directly again, not used to the brightness.

My eyes fluttered open again slowly, trying to avoid the bright light. When my eyes finally adjusted to the light, I carefully sat up, groaning at the pain in my skull.

I took some time to look around the room. There were white walls, a ceiling fan, a white bed with white sheets -in which I was sitting-, a little table, that I presumed was a nightstand, stood next to the bed. There was a white door opposite from where I was sitting and there were curtains that could be drawn around the bed.

I was still confused about where I was and what had happened.

Just then, the door opened and a woman who looked to be in her thirties or so, entered the room.

"Ah, you're awake. You were out for quite a while, Sir", she greeted me.

"Oh umm... where- where am I..? What happened...?"

"Oh, of course. You're here at Fujisawa City Hospital (藤沢市民病院, Fujisawa Shimin Byōin). From what we know from the others that were there, you were cutting your friend's birthday cake, accidentally dropped the knife, while someone who didn't trust you with the task tried taking it from you, and tried catching it with your foot" -she vaguely gestured to my bandaged up foot- "the knife then ending up going right through your foot. You apparently doubled back in pain and hit your head somehow."

When hearing this, I suddenly remembered everything that had happened. I was my bro Hanta's birthday party... Oh god... that's embarrassing....

I could feel my cheeks heat up a bit, due to my embarrassment.

The woman chuckled,

"Although I must admit, that was an- erm- interesting way of getting into hospital, it's fine. We've had more ridiculous cases so far. Well, anyways... I'll inform the doctor that you're awake so he can run a couple of tests"

I nodded my head -which I ended up regretting to be completely honest- and she left the room.

Not long after, a guy who looked around his early forties or something entered the room and introduced himself as Dr. Yaku Genshishima. He ran a few tests on me, all to check how I was doing.
