Leyton's POV
As I laid there next to Skylin, I couldn't help but to feel lucky. I was happy that she had come back and I told myself that I would never ever let her go, well unless she is the one that decided that everything is too much for her and decides to pack up and leave.
I finally closed my eyes and let myself sleep. I fell asleep for about 2 hours before I was woken up with the urge to vomit, making me shoot up from bed and run to the bathroom, on my way there I heard gentle footsteps following after me. As I was puking my guts out Sky rubbed my back and after I had finished I rinsed my mouth and popped some gum into my mouth in an attempt to get rid of the taste and smell of vomit from my mouth. When I turned around to face Sky I saw worry etched over her whole face. I smiled a small reassuring smile which didn't seem to help at all.
"I'm okay, Baby." I said in an attempt to reassure her even though I probably looked far from it.
"You're pale and definitely not okay." She said. "Did you drink any medication?" She asked.
"I did, Doctor Dante said that the medication itself might cause me to vomit a couple of times before I stop." I said climbing back onto my bed.
"I'm going to go to the kitchen to get you some food." She said. "You have to eat." She said with a shrug probably noticing my look of disdain. I had no appetite besides everything that I've eaten so far comes back out after 2 or 3 hours.
I watched her exit the room leaving me in complete silence. I sat alone for a good 25 minutes before she returned with soup making me frown.
"Alright come on, open up." She said raising the spoon filled with vegetable soup to my lips. I couldn't help but to frown at her. "Come on Leyton, do it for me and my very concerned heart." She said with an adorable pout that just made me want to kiss her, so instead of kissing her I opened my mouth and let Skylin feed me.
"Okay I'm good now." I said after eating about 7 spoons.
" Okay I'll be back in a second, let me just take this dish to the kitchen." She said standing up.
"Wait." I said.
"What?" She asked with worry and confusion.
"Don't I get a kiss." I asked and watched as amusement filled her eyes. She smiled at me and pecked my lips before she stood up straight, took the dish and walked out the door leaving me surprised. I wasn't expecting her to actually kiss me.
I stayed for a couple of minutes in my boredom. I couldn't work but luckily my dad was helping with the running of the business in my absence. Instead of Skylin coming in, I saw my mother who had a smile on her face.
"I told you that she'd come back." She said in a singsong voice. "Judging by the comfy sleeping position that I found you two in earlier I think I am right to say that you two are now an item and that you have fixed everything and told her about your true identity." My mother said with a smirk.
"Not exactly." I responded.
"What do you mean?" She asked as her smile dropped.
"Well I told her about my feelings for her and I told her about my worries, but I haven't told her that I'm billionaire, Leyton Santiago maybe she doesn't even know me." I said.
"Leyton you better tell her before that information tears you apart, you never know how things like this can change a situation. She doesn't know that if someone was to see you with her she'll be flooded by the paparazzi and news reporters before she can even blink. From what I've seen I don't think that she likes too much attention on her, she has the right to know what she is getting herself into." Mother said shooting me with a stern look and exiting through door leaving me to my thoughts. I knew that she was right, but it wasn't easy to just say it to her.
