This part was...rather confusing, to say the least.

I mean, would you believe it if an old hobo tells you he's the maker of the world?

The problem was that, in my case...was it so absurd? After all, I met a group of brats who were goddesses, so why couldn't an old man be one?

But again, from my side. For someone sane like Kat the reaction was of course...

Kat:"You poor, poor old man...Being stuck down here all alone must've really got to you, eh?"

Me:"I...I doubt that's the case..."

That said, he kept talking as if she didn't say anything.

???:"And as a Creator, I have a request."

Kat:"Oh, I see. You need help finding your way home? I guess we're in the same boat there."

???:"No, that's not-"

Kat:"Wait, you need me to open a bottle, is that it?"

???:"Childproof caps do not concern-"

Kat:"Alright, then I guess-"

???:"Listen when a person speaks!"

Me:"He's not wrong. You keep interrupting him and we're rather stuck here."

Kat:"So you're a 'person' now? I thought you said you were the Creator?"

???:"Argh, no! I am the Creator!"

Me:"Both of you, shut up!"

They both stopped and turned to me while I held my temples exasperated

Me:"Urgh, this is getting us nowhere. So, exactly, what is that you want us to..."

When I opened my eyes, I found ourselves in front of the drawing, just Kat and I. As if we never moved.

Me:"What the Hell!?"

Kat:"How did we end up back here? And the tunnel...it's gone again!"

Dusty:"Meow!"

At her side Dusty was staring at both of us, his eyes almost shining.

Kat:"Dusty! Where were you!? Don't run off like that!"

Me:"Don't we have other problems right now? Where is that man? And how did he send us here?"

Kat:"Uh? Why do you think it was his doing?"

Me:"Why shouldn't I? If he actually is the maker of this world, he wouldn't had trouble to do that."

Kat:"Please. Don't tell me you believe it?"

Me:"It wouldn't be the weirdest thing I ever saw. Though that would lead to more questions."

Kat:"Seriously? I find it hard to believe."

Me:"Said the girl with the power to fly."

Kat:"...Fine. Do you think we should find him?"

Me:"Hoping it won't be harder than looking for Raven and Alias."

We started to search from the main square and went around, until we saw something peculiar.

Many people were packed at the border of the city.

Me:"That's not something you see everyday. Do you know what they're doing, Kat?"

Kat:"No...but maybe he does!"

She pointed to a lonely corner where our misterious Creator was standing alone.

Me:"Well now, easier than I thought."

We landed behind him, but he didn't even greet us. He kept watching the border.

That's when I noticed it didn't seem natural, but more like something was ripped away.

Kat:"Hey old man, what's everyone staring at?"

???:"The universe ripped their families and homes away. They are all waiting for the day the universe gives back what it has taken from them."

Me:"...And when would it be?"

He turned to us.

???:"That depends from both of you. The door to a new world is about to open. Beyond it lies the truth about your power, Kat."

Me:"A new world?..."

Kat:"I don't get it, what door?"

He didn't answers, as he turned to the people. Men, children and women, some crying and some angry.

???:"Will you help them?"

Kat:"I would if I could...But how do I know where their families are?"

Me:"...You do, don't you? Can you send us there?"

???:"...I can. But I warn you: once you'll be there, you'll need to rely on your true power."

I flinched at those words.

Me:"My...true power..."

Kat:"Y/N?"

???:"It is time."

He opened up his coat and revealed what seemed to be a portal, engulfing us both.

Kat:"Wh-What the heck-!?"

Me:"Wait, there's other I need to know!"

???:"Come! Come with me to another world!"

We both find us falling in the light and when we reached the ground, we found ourselves in a weird place.

The sky was orange, and there was ruins and debris floating all around.

The old man's voice echoed in the air.

???:"This is the world beyond. The missing people are trapped here along with their town."

Kat:"You! Hey, where are you!?"

???:"This world and yours are kept apart for good reason, but soneone has brought the two together...You must enter into this world and restore that wich was taken."

Kat:"You use a lot of 'someone's and 'something's when you speak. If you want to be vague, that's fine, but keep it simple!"

???:"Hmm...Very well, then. Follow the flowers to find the missing part of town...How's that?"

Kat:"Follow the flowers. Got it."

???:"Fear not...a good Creator never gives the worthy an impossible challenge. I have faith in you."

Kat:"W-Wait! Don't leave us here! If you're such a good Creator, why don't you save the town yourself!? Don't run away when I'm talking, old man! Uff, looks like we're on our own, Y/N...Y/N?"

I heard her, but I wasn't in condition to answer. I was on the ground, forcing myself to breath.

Kat:"Y/N! What's going on!? Are you ok!?"

Me:"...Can't...breath...properly..."

Kat:"But how..."

In that moment various Nevi started to appear.

Kat:"Damn it, not now! Stay here, I'll deal with them!"

She went with Dusty as I forced myself to stand up.

However, a big Nevi resembling some sort of frog landed in front of me and hit me with his long...nose? I think...

I went down again and it jumped on me.

Kat:"Y/N!"

For a moment, I started to see dark and was about to faint. But then...

Ghost Rider:'What are you waiting for!? Move!'

I grabbed the nose and ripped it apart as the frog faded away. I slowly stood up with fire on my hands.

And not only there.

Kat:"...Y/N....?"

Me:"...So it had to happen, eh?"
