Madison POV

But, the next book, tells a different story...

"Holy Shit."

The book was red and a black Z in the corner. I flipped page by page the closer I got to the end the closer I came to a heart attack or stroke.

I took a deep breath. This book was something that, I'm sure, was meant to never be seen, let alone found. The book was full of drawings of me and Zayn, in some preoccupied positions. It was erotic. It was dirty, raunchy, it was overwhelming.

I close the book and look at it like it's on fire, like the devil was going to come out of it. I never thought in a million years that Zayn would do this. Draw me like that. It was scary, but what scared me most is how much that I actually didn't care.

I felt dirty just looking at the damn book. I grab the last book, it had papers poking out of the edges, and it was the thickest of them all. The book was covered in little doodles and it was white with a Z in black placed in the corner. He must really like that letter.

I open it closing my eyes and them peeking then open and sighing in relief. It was letters. Kind of like a diary, but they were all addressed:
Dear Madi,

But, they were like what happened during his day. It was odd, and when I got to the back of the book my heart ached. It read:

Dear Madi,
Yesterday was probably the best day of my life.

She let me take her out. I took her to a dinner, but it wasn't that. It was everything in between.

She let go. She let her true colors shine and her heart laugh. I love when she laughs, her eyes catch this sparkle as bright as a star, and it dances around on her face.

Her smile, makes me smile. Her laugh makes me want to laugh. Her tears make me want to cry. Her good heart makes me want to be a better person.

She is everything I ever wanted, needed.

She completes me.

Makes me whole.

I danced. I danced just for her. She wanted to dance, she loves to dance, and I danced. That takes a lot. I'm not really coordinated. But, for her, I'd do anything.

Till then,
Z

I heard my heart shatter into a million pieces. I take one step forward and two thousand back. The next was worse.

Dear Madi,
Right now you're sleeping right beside me, your heart beating like a drum. Your face so soft and beautiful, and the way the light catches your features is amazing.

Last night was extraordinary. Truly something amazing.

You and I made love.

It was magical. The love and passion. You will never know of how beautiful you really are Madi. You won't.

You don't see what I see. I see a bright and beautiful girl. Not only book smart, but street smart. You don't take crap from me, and I respect that. You know that, or I hope that you know that, I love you.

I love you Madi.

Till then,
Z

I put the book down, the last page blank, the only thing was the date. I knew that date. It was the day that Zayn left, and never looked back.

I grab the books and loose papers shoving them under my mattress. If he could do it, so could I.

I crawl up into bed and curl myself up in covers, the bed warm, but so icy cold. The emptiness consuming. The last thing going through my mind.

Zayn.
