Chapter 2: Katsumi Senju

Four years have passed since Katsumi Senju was found by Orochimaru in the Hidden grass village. It was now the middle of fall, Katsumi was actually about to turn your years old very soon.

Orochimaru and Kabuto have both grown to love having Katsumi around, which surprised Orochimaru he only took her with him to train her to be one of her followers. He wasn't expecting to grow attached to her, but guess that what happens when you become a father.

Orochimaru believed that it was time to start training Katsumi soon since he believed that she was at a good age to start training to become a shinobi.

Orochimaru sighed. As Katsumi was getting older she would start to ask questions about who her mother was, since she only knows that he was her father. He always feared the worse that could happen if he told her that her mother didn't want her thinking it was a mistake. He wanted to protect her at all cost from that kind of pain, but he knew that he couldn't protect her forever she would have to know the truth eventually.

And that Orochimaru realized how much Katsumi meant to him, and couldn't believe how soft this girl was making him.

'Why did that child have to make me feel this way. I never felt emotion like this about anyone since the death of my parent's death. I might care about Kabuto a little bit more than most of my followers, but it's nothing compared to the way I feel about Katsumi.' Orochimaru thought with a confused look on his face.

The snake Sannin was then snapped out of his thoughts when a knock was heard on his bedroom door.

"You may enter," He said letting the person outside of his room that it was okay to come inside his bedroom.

The door opened to reveal an eleven-year-old Kabuto standing outside of Orochimaru bedroom door.

"Kabuto, " Orochimaru said.

"My Lord breakfast is ready," Kabuto said bowing to Orochimaru.

"Ah thanks, Kabuto-kun. Go wake up Katsumi for breakfast," Orochimaru said getting up from under the blankets. "I will be in the kitchen soon I'm just going to use the bathroom," he said heading towards the bathroom.

"Understand Lord Orochimaru. I go wake her up right away," Kabuto said standing back up done bowing. He then closed the door and headed to Katsumi's bedroom to go wake her up.

Kabuto walked through the candlelit hallway of the underground hideout to Katsumi's bedroom.

When he arrived bedroom he saw that the door was closed, he slowly opened it to reveal a small head covered with blonde hair sticking out of the blanket and resting on a pillow.

Kabuto slowly walked over towards the bed to wake up Katsumi from her slumber.

"Alright to wake her up," Kabuto said placing a hand on Katsumi and gently shaking her awake.

"Ugh," Katsumi groaned moving a little bit.

"Time to wake up," he said shaking him some more.

Katsumi slowly began to open her eyes waking up from her sleep. She let out a yawn and turned to face Kabuto. "Big brother Kabuto," she said realizing that it was her brother who woke her up.

"Morning Katsumi your father wanted me to wake you up for breakfast."

"Alright, big brother Kabuto I'm coming," she said sitting up and getting out from under her covers revealing her purple snake pajamas.

Kabuto nodded and headed towards the door with Katsumi following after him looking forward to what Kabuto made for breakfast this morning. She enjoyed Kabuto cooking it was one of her favorite things since she started living here.
